Yes, Poland made mistakes but the backpass probably wouldn't have happened if they knew there was a player there. He shouldn't have been waived on at such a time. He was off the pitch and out of play and was waived on whilst the ball was in the air and Poland were oblivious which gave Senegal a huge advantage which they unfairly capitalised on. The Senegal player was past the last defender so how are you meant to know about that? He essentially sneaked on.

I'm really disappointed about Poland performance. They played nice football in Euro 2016 and World Cup qualifiers, but today they played terrible, Lewandowski was invisible.
Egypt already eliminated after first two games. I'm really impressed how Russia are playing, I understimated their team before tournament, even mostly Russian fans didn't expected that their team can reach next round. Actually, I think that referee had to give second penalty when Russian player fouled. But anyway, so far we can't complain about referees, they didn't made big mistakes, VAR helps them a lot.
Japan beat Columbia 2:1 after Moreno got red card in 3rd minute and penalty was given. But in my opinion, Columbia had decent match, despite that they had only 10 players on pitch and started match without James Rordigues who had small injury.

Russia are looking pretty good in this world cup tournament, I guess the home ground advantage with the home fans cheering for the team really helps to boosts up a lot of confidence for the Russian players, despite Mohamed Salah playing in this match against Russia, Egypt are still unable to overcome the mighty Russian and became the first team to be eliminated from this tournament.

Feel really bad for Sallah, hopefully we see Egypt again in the next World Cup.

I wouldn't be so sure about Russia being first, tomorrow Uruguay plays Saudi Arabia and they can easily score a lot of goals considering the quality they have forward and last match will be decisive for first place as Russia will play Uruguay.

I Got ZERO points for the last two matches. I had 1-1 for Colombia vs Japan and 1-0 for Poland.
I also did not notice that I can get extra points from the bonus points and from the Joker. Any clues on how many points we can earn from the bonus points?
For the running game Russia vs Egypt, I had 2-1 for Russia but it is 3-1 already Sad

Not so bad if the final score remains like this because I will still get some points

I had 2-0 to Columbia. The handball was silly. It would have been better to let it go in and play one nil down than with ten men (and also 1-0 down after the penalty).

@hilarious: the "Joker" symbol is the Joker's hat icon just below the scoreline and just above the challenge bonus. Click the Icon and your match selection will be highlighted. I used mine and the option is gone already, MatchDay 2 it is still available (one per Matchday).

And I'm here to rant about Belgium because I predicted 4-0. It's weird to think if anyone predicted 1-2 they'd get more points than me since I only score for correct Belgium win, and that pot is bigger it seems for correct number of goals in this match.

It was great to see both Belgium and England claiming maximum points against their opponents in the matches yesterday in order to increase their chances to progress to the next stage of the tournament, I think the match between Colombia and Japan today will be very entertaining, as Japan is a team that always tends to play an attacking style even against stronger teams.

sadly decided last minute to play also under 2.5 goals in England match which costed me money , but my read for the game was amazing till the extra time haha

Didn't know about Joker matches, too bad since today I finally got to correct scores.

Regarding predictor page working badly, I think it is a case of overloaded servers. It is especially bad just after the matches finish. You can try early in the morning and it is usually working perfectly. Only problem are bonus questions which open only after line up is known.

There are also delays with the points being included with the total match points gained. I recently predicted the right score with the match between Belgium and Panama yet my scores aren't updated.

I also have similar problems with FIFA website - it just doesn't work properly. Well, at least I haven't missed any score predictions, only few bonus questions. And points are still not updated, despite that last match of the day ended more than a hour ago.

I had 2-0 down. Always annoying when someone scored and ruins your chance of getting a perfect score. England played mediocre as expected. Tunisia deserved the point but a vital win as I doubt they'll get anything from Belgium but should beat Panama (emphasis on should).
