I see around 40 people online when i log.
Is there any provision to hide our online status because by seeing the jackpot amount and frequency of dice rolls, I guess many gamblers would have opted not to show their online status. Is there any personal settings available for this, I checked twice still I am not sure about where and how to do.
I guess you are asking what we are having in this forum. But in gambling site what would be the advantages by hiding our online status. I have not seen any gambling sites with this kind of features.

Still, for security purposes Alex would have incorporated any new thing, lets wait for others (pro gamblers/reviewers) to comment on this.
Everytime I logged in I see 28 people online at most which is a big improvement from 12 people online. Which means BitDice's signature campaign os working for their site.  Also seeing that it has reach 40 people online makes me more happy as we are helping BitDice to be recognize by more people.
Maybe theres a bit impact of signature campaign from increasing players. But they are also some factors that really helps Bitdice to attract more players. Example of this is the no email verification. Players who want to register  there is not required any informations like your email. Its good for quick plays. Bitdice doesn't relying on our signature space only. I think its just a little help for them to promote  their site.

Promoting is a science on its own. There are quite a few casinos out there and to shine among the many BitDice is relying on the features we provide and the games that are in the making.
I agree that the anon version was needed for playing on the site as there are players who do not wish to bother with emails etc. But players who do full registrations benefit a lot from them Smiley

The advantage of hiding our online status is that no one will know that you are gambling by that time, that's the only thing I know for hiding your status.

That's good to know that it's players are increasing and it's kind of working. I'm thinking that the wagering contest is also the one who is responsible for it.

How do you know if the increased number of online people is the effect of the signature campaign? Sure, it may be the effect of the campaign but it may be caused by something else. I do believe bitdice not only rely on the sign campaign to get more and more players, they might have some other advertising ways out of this forum.

I think it is an assumption that somehow signature campaign helps in the increase of population on the site.  And him being part of the campaign is more than happy that he is contributing something to the site.

So how does me submitting my documents make it legitimate that I'm won't be abusing the system ? Or makes me a less of a system abuser? To sum it up,asking documents from online gamblers who believe in anonymity is bad.I don't support it. Not derailing this thread anymore...
Agreed, proof of identity doesn't make anything more legitimate. I would be opposed to any gambling sites that require documents/identity information. In the case of BitDice, I don't think that adding an email to your account can be compared to requiring documents/identifying information. You can always setup a new email address if you wanted to still remain anonymous while having an email associated with your account.
Well yeah, when a gambling site is asking for documents just to verify its identity then what's the use of it if there are a lot of documents found by simply pressing google's search button. If comparing to adding email to our accounts with documents, I guess it is far from it. Unless the gambler sees it as a hassle thing to do. You are right with that, setting up new email can still make you anonymous, just don't use your main email.
Agree sort of lot of document are can be bought online in just a cheap price and you can provide it directly to the site annd the accept it if they cant notice that it is fake or not yyour real identity. Well being anonymous in terms of emails it is good to prevent hackers or knowing your ownn or main email

Not only that, the reason why we are using bitcoin in a Casino site is to conceal our identity, submitting proof of personal identity documents just beat its purpose.

When you experience that, you have to doubt already, most likely they will not pay you, unless you are doing something bad to abuse their system.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
I think that is more than better... Cool
Too much...anonynity can "hurt" some times. Roll Eyes
Mind using a real life implication where it actually hurt someone when they're gambling online while it is forbidden according to their country's regulations ? I think not! Also it is really stupid of gambling sites to ask for documents while processing high valued withdrawals.

You cannot hide your online status, but you can hide your username from bets so that it shows 'hidden' instead of your username if you wish to be more anonymous.

The new accounts that can be made without email combined with the option of hiding your name in the bets should be enough to feel anonymous.

What exactly do you mean? You are just anonymous if you prefer to be, but in case your account will be compromise or any related problems you might encounter, you can provide the necessary information that might require your personal information to solve the problem fast.

If there's no problem that you will encounter then being anonymous is always best to maintain.

As i just say above, i think that if you want to just share your success on a gambling site, you can't do it anonymous.
I didn't say that you will have to do it with...ID's and paperwork man! Grin It's true after all, why to play here if you can be verified in RL...
I was a little sarcastic about it, that's all. Cool

Still, i have faced some issues with gambling sites about claims and winnings and it would be better to be "verified" and not anonymous... Roll Eyes

Sorry I want to ask if we become anonymous on whether to improve the security of our account? Honestly I still do not understand because I think as long as we can keep, it will remain safe and no influence. So what it does, please explain because I still do not understand Huh Huh

How can it hurt someone? are you referring to cashout issues?

Maybe in some situations yes. Also, i think it's good sometimes to share any success you might have.
Not always to be "hidden", that's all.

Just wondering how's the traffic in the site going?  Is it getting large enough to add player vs player games like poker or maybe 1v1 craps or yatze?  I like playing dice games but sometimes I crave playing player vs player games and would hate the process of transferring Bitcoins to another site and then wait.

That's nice.  I live in Asia so when I online, I do not see much people around. Love to play 1vs1 but it is hard to find a qualified player to come and play with me.

There's no big issue if you cannot hide your online status, in the first place it's anonymous and only the admin can trace the IP address that we are using, but there's always a solution to hide our IP address by using a VPN or any service that can mask your real IP. Since gambling sites like BitDice wants to give their players the best security they deserve, they will not make it hard for us to gamble.
