Whales still do not have to bet that much to win, I mean after all it is a competition and sure if they want to gamble they can and nothing stops them but the explanation to "70 times higher than the third" is not that "he is a whale", sure he can be a whale and always +1 satoshi whoever plays or even just make it even 100k satoshi higher than the closest thing to be sure but making it THAT much higher looks useless if the reason is to win the competition.

This is more than even the power trip version, like if he is really trying to just gamble a lot and show off that he has a ton of money and want to flex his money, this is too much even for that, we could have got it if he just doubled the closest competition.

Interesting to see, I guess he just likes to play.

Yes! I think we really ought to make a sort of separate thread/discussion about this. We have threads about ratings, about lowest edges, most games etc. But we who play dice all know speed is one of the most important (if not), once we all level the playing field in terms of house edge (which is 1% almost everywhere now).

I do use an office network, and it is SLOW on almost every other website but for BitDice it is still playable. But the difference of course is when I am able to get to use an actual unfiltered broadband, which happens rarely when I am at someone's house;) There you can really witness the speed. I don't really know how fast, never measured but you can finish 10k rolls for sure way under 1 hour.

^^ On my experience, when I used our office network Bitdice is extremely very quick as opposed to playing home wherein it was also decent as compare to other online dice game I've played. And as I have said, I'm not surprised by the results but I'm sure it will be contested by other online dice sites. So I guess it's really based on user experience here. I think Bitdice upgrade has something to do with the speed or something and that's why they keep on doing it after several months because they wanted to provide good experience for their users/customers.
