Now that's a milestone not many people can talk about! Probably going to be a lot of people rolling on small bets to get closer to the mark and then try and shoot for the prize with a bet ID.

Just 1 small point to clarify, must the bet also be a winning bet or do losing bets count? $55 for consolation isn't a bad deal at all!

Bet result doesn't matter, just the roll id and bet amount (unless going for consolation prize).

@Dogedice.me, if we are betting on dice, is it ok to use whatever the %winning chance with 0.001 btc? Or we should use specific %winning chance to eligible the reward?

Any win chance will be eligible for the reward.

We're excited to announce a competition to celebrate (almost) a BILLION bets being placed on our site!

All you need to do is be on our site and ready to place some bets in order for a chance to win. Just remember to check out the rules first!

We have chosen 10 bet IDs which will be hunted for in the competition. Starting from the billionth (1,000,000,000th) bet all the way to the 1,000,900,000th bet in 100,000 increments.

The rules of the billionth bet competition are pretty simple.

  • There will be 10 winners (10 bet IDs are being hunted)
  • Each player may only win once
  • The players who hit closest (or equal) to one of the hunted bet IDs will win a prize
  • To win, the bet size must be over 0.001 BTC (or 250 CSNO, 3750 DOGE, 0.04 ETH, 0.1 LTC)
  • We will pick the closest bet ID after the target number if the bet size does not exceed the amount mentioned above
  • All games count towards the competition
  • If the billionth bet does not exceed this amount, they will be credited a consolation prize of 0.005 BTC (this only applies for the billionth bet)

For example if you hit bet ID 1,000,100,000 and you placed a bet of 0.0001 on dice, you will not win a prize. Let's say bet id 1,000,100,001 is a 0.001 BTC bet then they will receive the prize. If your bet was the billionth and the amount wasn't enough, then you will be credited the consolation prize.

The bet IDs that we hunt are the following:

  • 1,000,000,000
  • 1,000,100,000
  • 1,000,200,000
  • 1,000,300,000
  • 1,000,400,000
  • 1,000,500,000
  • 1,000,600,000
  • 1,000,700,000
  • 1,000,800,000
  • 1,000,900,000

Prizepool: 600 mBTC

1st Prize (1,000,000,000th bet): 0.15 BTC
2nd Prize (1,000,100,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
3rd Prize (1,000,200,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
4th Prize (1,000,300,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
5th Prize (1,000,400,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
6th Prize (1,000,500,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
7th Prize (1,000,600,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
8th Prize (1,000,700,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
9th Prize (1,000,800,000th bet): 0.05 BTC
10th Prize (1,000,900,000th bet): 0.05 BTC

PS. Stay tuned for a wager competition to be announced after this Wink

Here's some glimpse of current Leaderboard!

@milewilda I can see plenty of new faces on the leaderboard, it seems many new players have made Bitdice their new home. Am I alone feeling that the next competition of Bitdice will break all the past records, as the competition to be on the top of the leaderboard has increased massively?.

recently I noticed that some of soccer unpopular leagues weren't listed pre match , but what surprised me was seeing these matches offered in the live section
so are you offering some low league soccer for games live intentionally ? is there any plan to add the majority of these leagues prelive as well ?

Check now. These should now be open for pre-match games as well.

I dont believe people out of crypto cared much when Bitcoin went from $8000 to $12000. It was same in 2016. Price was going up but no one cared. Once it reached old ATH at $1200 and keep growing people started taking notice and only then the hype started.

You're right here of course, but Google trends suggest that people do care, because they're looking it up more. Same as the wiki views. It may not translate into people buying btc but it does mean people are back to being interested.

And @poordeveloper, yeah, sell your avocados and buy at the next dip, because you'll never see them this cheap again;) I'm not sure what you mean by your display though, but I don't think you can change that way it's displayed. Which way would you prefer it?

Is there any way to change from the default way of displaying amounts to Bitcoin?

@poordeveloper as for your query regarding the displaying amounts shoot a message to Boxxob or Kolloh they should be able to help you out with it.
Yep, they are the best people to contact for that kind of feature. Anyway don't worry about it as they visit this thread regularly so rest assured that they can read all of those suggestions for BitDice.

What are you trying to say is they cancelled your bet just because of the provider does not have that huge odds? This is really bad choice to say, you just saying this based on things that is really ambigous. And why should they scam some little amount of you when they always have a big whale playing for them and even they pay a very huge amount without any delay? If you want to have something bad occured on this big reputation site, please think twice before you do it. It is really pointless

@BtcCevo Bitdice gave him all the explanations regarding his bet, they even refunded him with a bonus to make him happy. However he turned greedy and decided to spam this forum, he didn’t even acknowledge that he got bonus until Bitdice team brought it up. This baseless accusations won’t harm Bitdice reputation, and it has been sufficiently answered in the other thread.

Yes this is the explanation will be, I believe Bitdice's team never leave unsettle matter and yet he claimed that Bitdice never solve his issue right here. So when I tried to figure it out then this coming up and yes again Bitdicr solve everything clearly. I know Bitdice for very long time ago and yet he accuse Bitdice without giving every single details

Enjoying the wild ride for the past week guys? I wonder if user activity at the site increases with price just the same way google trends does. Apparently even avocado prices are rising the way Bitcoin is (the chart pattern hehe), I'll share the article here: https://www.inc.com/eric-mack/the-price-of-this-shockingly-boring-item-mirrors-bitcoin-in-weirdest-way.html

I'll bet BitDice charts might outperform BTC price;)
I can finally sell my avocados! Cheesy

Seriously though. Is there any way to change from the default way of displaying amounts to Bitcoin?

@poordeveloper as for your query regarding the displaying amounts shoot a message to Boxxob or Kolloh they should be able to help you out with it.

Hah, there is a correlation between the price of BTC and avocado then,  Grin. Yes it was a wild ride last week, but I'm no whales so it affected my gambling habits but in a nice way though. I guess on @BoXXoB can tell us the what's going on behind the scene, specially after a volatile and wild ride. But seems that BTC has recovered so everything is good!!!

The volatility in bitcoins prices was indeed surprising, but I’m sure those whales may have brought their coins when prices were really low hence they’re able to play such big bets without fear. @btc_angela you can always login and check the recent stats, you’ll also be able to see who’s sitting on top of the leaderboard.

The whales can place bets without fear because they've accumulated so much that losing a few BTC is nothing when the reward could bring them so much profit. Similar to the BTC volatility we saw this week, I reckon these were a mere whales game
Anyways, the gambling world just like the crypto world is better off with inflated BTC

Controlling emotion is the most important thing to maintain our strategies on whatever we do, from trading, investing, to gambling. Losing control on emotion will mostly result in emotional-forced decisions, that are usually incorrect ones. Bitcoin has rallied well and surpassed $12,000 once again today. I am not sure that it can keep moving upwards or not, but at least by now BTC has shown positive movements, after terrible crash due to Coinbase-related drama.
