Some new faces on the leaderboard and wagering 75k in total. Awesome!

Note: Theres no current competition or promotion for this one.

@milewilda yea it’s always nice to see people wagering such high amounts, and it’ll be really interesting if hdf decides to take him on in coming weeks as both of them seem to have the money power required to occupy the top spot. Also burritodick seems to be a huge blackjack fan as he has placed multiple bets on blackjack, and the most notable one was 1.60 btc that he had placed and won.

What do you think of the people who are on many lists all around the crypto gambling world? I mean I have seen many familiar faces (not gonna name any other casino) in at least 4 or 5 other places, those people keep gambling everywhere and be on the list all the time. To respect their privacy I am not going to name them and in other places there are even hidden ones that I suspect could be them as well.

I understand that people could be very rich and gamble a lot of money that is not really something shocking and quite common, however why do you think they play in 5 or more different places all at the same time? Why not just use all that money to gamble on just one website? Not saying it is right or wrong it is a personal preference thing and there is no right or wrong, playing in just one place with huge amount or playing in 5 place with big amounts all are fine and cool, just wanted to know why some people do that and others do the other.

@davinchi that's already good for your ram space if you have other apps to open. The amount of ram space that Opera use could be enough for you but if that's still inconvenient.

As Juggy mentions, let's wait for the update and this might be considered and included to the upgrade.

@jossiel indeed the site shall load at a faster rate then before because they’re changing the entire UI, which is designed for best UX hence we all should benefit from the new updates. However if anyone is currently facing any kind of speed issue it’s best to login and ask their support for help, because they may already have a fix for these kind of issues.

Quote

As of now, dozens of web pages had been designed with others soon to follow. Every element of the new design, regardless of how small, is being double-checked to meet UX/UI best practices requirements with the ultimate goal for the product to reach the highest standards of user-friendliness.

^^ Well, I can tell you that chrome did spent a bit more than Opera but the difference wasn't that significant. I still have a problem where my computer has 16 gb ram and I am using about 2 gb of it but whenever I open task manager I face with 50% spent, like my computer has 4 gb ram but that is not true at all, I checked everywhere on my computer, every single possible way, and it looks like I have the full 16 gb all open, so computer sees it, because first thing I thought was "maybe computer only sees 4gb and not the rest) but thats not the issue.

In anyway I get to play games where it spends 5 gb ram, and it still says 50%, I use 7 gb, it says 50%, I use just 1 gb, it still says 50%, I guess my computer always sees 50% used Cheesy. In anyway back to topic, opera does spend a bit less, not HUGE difference but like 200-300 mb less and I guess that helps?

These issues generally aren't significant for "lite" sites. You'd have to visit media heavy sites of widget heavy with possibly several of your extensions all working at the same time to experience this problem.

I think I read that they will move completely away from the underlying code because they just can't fix the Chrome memory leak problem.

I used to go firefox actually, but Chrome is so convenient with all the Google logins stored.

@davinchi maybe their new update will make the site load more faster for you, because at my end it’s loading really fast.

Also as this week is coming to an end I thought to share the weekly leaderboard update with you’ll, and it’s pertinent to note that everyone’s favourite whale aka hdf is sitting at the number 4th position, but I’m pretty sure that in coming weeks he’ll reclaim the top spot for himself.

*note: there is no competition going on, these are the weekly leaderboard updates only.*

One thing I didn't consider was the extensions, I had metamask on my chrome and now I don't have it anymore, I liked to send money to bitdice from my metamask but I guess I will have to just deposit/withdraw from my chrome, and do the rest from opera. Does bitdice team knows any reason why browser changes makes the website change as well? Like opera faster but chrome slower type of things? Or is it something out of their control? I want to try ToR very soon as well, I don't liked to be followed around by  my ISP so I will probably move to ToR eventually and gambling is a perfect thing to try on ToR since that would be something you wouldn't want anyone to find out, right now there is VPN for that but I am not entirely sure how much that works, with ToR that would be a totally different deal to gamble.
I think this has already been noted but, does this have the connection to the ram eating of Chrome and Opera? We knew it that Chrome browser consumes a lot in our ram and that makes it slower while Opera, consumes not that much.

Except Opera, have you tried other browsers like Brave?

@davinchi few days ago @BoXXoB had updated us that few minor updates were implemented on the site, and due to those updates the site would load quickly for all, and I had even tested it and indeed the site was loading fast. However in your case @jossiel is correct that Chrome consumes more ram, and hence you’re finding the site slow on Chrome, but in reality the site is fast and you can test it using other browsers and then update us with your experience.

Yesterday we had a small update on the site which included a performance update which should improve performance for most users but especially for mobile users or those with less powerful devices.

We also had minor updates to the front-end for example dicebot now allows users to increase / decrease bet size on both win and loss.

Sometimes, some gambling site has not supported TOR, I mean has slow speed and connection because use 4 circuit (IP) to hide your real address. Maybe you have to try Epic browser basic on chrome. Epic browser has included encrypted proxy VPN and etc. After installed go to Epic extension store then installing the recommended extension.

I have switched to opera browser yesterday and ever since that moment things have been a lot faster and a lot better honestly. I feel like VPN could be the main reason for it as well. Normally I was using google chrome like almost everyone in the world but right now I moved to Opera and the difference is, in google chrome you have to download a VPN and either you paid for a good one, or you get one of the bad free ones and I got the bad free ones which made it a lot slower and worse.

With opera browser the VPN is already integrated so there is no need for another one. So, maybe that could be the reason why I have a lot faster gambling here and a lot better loading and all around better experience. I can't really say that is it since I have no data to back up but on Opera bitdice is much better than chrome.

I havent tested this one yet on bitdice but i did try to use it on other sites and thats the beauty of opera browser which it do really had that integrated vpn into its browser and you can choose up 3 major location and selecting the optimal ones.. For those who dont know then just simply press up
Ctrl+N and you will able to toggle up that VPN thing.

I don't know if there is something wrong with me but when I tried to open slots on bitdice, it shows following text: "Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension". I checked with different browsers and devices but same text again. Is there something wrong with IP location or does problem come from your side?
Sometimes happens to me, I have adblocker extension on browser basic chrome, after disabled it, website working fine after restart and clear cache.

That's useful info, thanks.

However considering all around the offline casino world slots are the biggest money makers to casinos, I think I understand why casinos would want it. So, what I don't get is the gamblers side of it I suppose. There are tons of other games where it is more interactive and where you have a bigger gaming involved, why keep going to the same thing that has just one button and play there instead? Its a personal choice I suppose and I have to just respect it.
Yes, it's a matter of personal choice.

And most casinos have slots and they're treating it as their main game and if there's no taker, there would be no more existence to it. But, it wouldn't be considered by BitDice or any casino that have slots and adds more of it if there's no demand.

I never really understood the attention slots games get, I think they are cool and all but if you seen one you have seen all, I don't get adding 35 new slots to a casino. I mean its all basically just clicking, some stuff turning and seeing if you got a streak or not and so forth, basically all looks similar to me.

Well, you need to play more often. When you play you simply change slots when you fell so. I mean everyone have his own strategy that not even have much sense to everyone else. Someone change slot as soon as he get a big win. Others avoid slots where they never win anything big. Having a plentiful of slots in the casino is the only sane decision casino owner can make.

It doesn't look like an IP restriction.

Please try enabling WebGL in your browser and see if it fixes the issue.

More information on how to do it you can find, for example, here:
https://superuser.com/questions/836832/how-can-i-enable-webgl-in-my-browser
or here:
https://www.sitepoint.com/firefox-enable-webgl-blacklisted-graphics-card/

I hope that helps.
