When a certain ANN thread becomes self-moderated then you cant really remove on someones mind not to have doubts when a gambling site do have a self-moderated thread and we
know that they know on whats the con's on having it but i do agree on what you had said that issues like these or shall we say non-sense topic shouldnt really be given any
attention or we can just simply report it since it is really out topic.Asking for gambling sites assets? Pathetic...
The difference between having a self-moderated topic and "not being able to complain" is not mutually exclusive. There is also a scam accusation part of bitcointalk. So, if there is any doubts, any complaints, any scam accusations for a website that gets removed, that person could start a new topic at the scam accusation part of the website and could talk about it there for days, you can write 10 posts a day about your complaint every single day without stopping for years, nobody will stop you from doing that.

However when you are not in a self-moderated topic and that dude writes here multiple times a day here, he is not only exercising his right to complain (which he has a right to) but he is also bothering other people as well. That is why I am in favor of self-moderated topics, it allows people to read about the website and not about just one person.

This discussion has been going on for a very very long time, this is why I always support self-moderated topics on every single casino since there are people who are copycats of game-protect (or maybe it is actually him) who makes ZERO sense at all. I have never seen ANYONE in the entire world who requests assets of a casino, there is not a single person in the entire world who would go to a casino (real brick and mortar casino or online casino) and asks about their assets, it makes ZERO sense to ask for their assets and that is none of our business at all.

If you are worried that they might scam people one day, well that starts with withdrawal problems, how many people withdraw their money from bitdice without any issue at all? If btidice allows people to withdraw whenever they want, that means there is no scam going on at all, why wonder about their assets?

@beerlover @Quidat thanks for the support guys, and I have used the ignore button for him, and would request you’ll to use it as his posts are irrelevant, and we should stop seeing them or even reply to it. Furthermore if you’ll ever get stuck with your withdrawals at Bitdice just contact support via intercom, and they’ll fix it for you.

@BKB-token if you need any updates regarding their finances, then join their discord channel as all financial information is being discussed out there.
I do not look for discussions about Bitdice assets, I look for proof of Bitdice assets?

Furthermore @BoXXoB clearly wrote this, but you’re deliberately choosing to ignore his advise may I ask why?.

Why do you deliberately choose to ignore my answer?

If you know that BitDice N.V. has assets, please show us the proof?

A quarterly report without verification is proof of nothing!

I can write a report that I own crypto currencies worth 3 Trillion, what does it prove?

The proof of the assets is proof of the assets, nothing else.

Its not really that common for someone to claim out that he wont mind for his money to be seized or locked down by a gambling site just because he do want to play into that place.

Majority will really be minding on the money that they do had no matter how small it is but since we are different on financial capability then its not really that something that you can
see on everyday.  Cheesy

As long you're aware with the risk then its fine.

will not buy those people telling that they don't care about their money as long as they can play, for sure once issue will occur like locking of accounts and etc. They will come here cries like a baby and file some scam accusation.

Majority will really mind since I myself is conservative about things and mostly I go with reputable casino which we can assure that things are in right position.
Maybe he's telling the truth and he's capable of what he's saying. We will never know.

But for the meantime, let's make and get back to the BitDice related discussions guys.

Well of course if I am a big gambler and play in a traditional casino then I will break the law because of the rules in my location, but I think if online gambling is not a big mistake even this no one knows about it except myself, if that is a problem later in the future. any withdrawal I will not mind being big, so gambling is just entertainment and would like to know more.

So about VPN, of course it is very used for me when accessing the site while there are no problems.
You will not mind even if you get caught and your funds will be seized? that's likely going to be the scenario if the worse case comes. As you have mentioned you are a big gambler and you mostly gamble with huge funds.

If you're ok with that, you know what you are doing.

In what country you live?

@Raflesia why would you try to access a gambling site when it’s banned in your location?, you could even land in legal trouble with the authorities if they catch you violating the law of the land. Furthermore as @BoXXoB has correctly said that people use it to hide their real location, but in those locations gambling is probably not banned, hence study your laws well and then only use vpn to access the site.

@BoXXoB, @Juggy777,

I can confirm that what you wrote is true. I can register and open new accounts on the casino, but when I try to open Blackjack or Dice to gamble I see a big red notification which says that players from the UK/USA are not allowed to play. The slot section can be accessed, but it's completely empty and there are no games on the list. I can see the sports betting offer though.

I will update the results in my thread, and post quotes of your posts as further explanation.

Thanks!

Edit: Corrected!

@BitDice and dogedice.me,

I am doing random tests on casinos from Bitcointalk and testing whether they have IP blocks for countries who are restricted from gambling at that casino. Check this thread if you want to know more > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5278411

In your TOS it says that players from the UK and USA are not allowed to play on BitDice. But you don't seem to have any active IP blocks that automatically detects and restricts US/UK players from accessing the site. I was able to use a VPN and register accounts with a UK and US IP. I think the implementation of IP blocks is a good option and many platforms do it. Is that something you would consider or plan to do in the future?

There's IP detection in place which prevents users from playing specific games that might be blocked in different countries. For example US and UK cannot play dice, slots etc. However there's also additional countries blocked by game providers so it was deemed appropriate that users can transact eg. deposit and withdraw without issues but not play if there's an issue with their IP address causing restrictions.

I myself cannot access this site because an IP has been detected in my area and of course gambling there is blocked so I want to ask if using a VPN is safe enough to be used in gambling games and in withdrawals?

In each VPN, there are many IP service providers from various countries, do you choose only one country and cannot choose another country from the VPN? is this method safe enough for me?

Use of VPNs doesn't change the fact that you're accessing from a country that doesn't allow online gambling. I think it's your responsibility to make sure you follow those rules.

Using VPNs is not forbidden because people use them for increased privacy and other reasons and not just to hide their location.

General information on this topic:

The good news is that you'll almost certainly avoid legal repercussions when using a VPN to place illegal bets. However, you could lose all of your money on the relevant site if caught. The ideal scenario is to stick with online sportsbooks, poker rooms, and casinos that are legal in your country.

However, with the upcoming website, ToS as well as other things will be reviewed again which could be taken as an opportunity to clarify things.

EDIT: As you said blocking users from registering could be a viable option too and I brought it up with the management as a possibility to consider

@Pmalek after reading your post I decided to see if I could login via US VPN or no, and I too was able to login but the actual twist came when I tried to wager on Dice or Blackjack, because as you can see from the images below Bitdice won’t allow you to bet if it detects you’re from US. Furthermore this proves that Bitdice has a robust mechanism which not only detects user’s using US IP address, but it also prevents them from wagering on their site.
