I got your response e-mail, and I responded with my own e-mail giving you an address to send the doge. 2 days since last correspondence, still waiting for resolution.

I just went to cash out. I clicked the 'cashout' button and this happened:

The amount it filled in has more than 8 decimal places.

I left it alone to see what happened. It told me something about "COLD WALLET" so I guess I have to wait.

Edit: It came after a while, rounded down to the nearest satoshi.

What are the benefits of levelling up on the site ? Is it the faucet ?

there is no faucet. I dont know if the level is still useful coz right now there have been changes about the rain.

I made a mistake too.  I had my old BitDice.me address saved in my wallet.  I changed it to my new address and sent 0.55 BTC, 30 minutes later I realized my wallet sent me a 3FA email to confirm the change to the saved address.  The 0.55 BTC went to my old wallet.  I tried to import, but it says that I already imported my account.  Stupid mistake, I know!!!  I've sent an email and a message via Bitcointalk.  If you could please help me, I would like to get this 0.55 BTC in my new BitDice.me account.  Thanks!!

3FA? Is that new tech?  Grin

Thank you for your response, I've sent an e-mail to the above e-mail address. One thing of note, the help link on the bottom of bitdice.me provides the contact e-mail as [email protected]. This is where I have been sending my previous e-mails.

Replied.

So I had just started tooling around on dogedice.me a bit when I guess the site merger happened. I had no idea this was happening, and I had sent a deposit to my old dogedice.me deposit address. These funds were not immediately made available upon deposit due to the multi-site merge. I was told that the admin, Alex, would have to import the old wallet and sync it, and I was also told to expect this done in about 48-72 hours. It has since been a week since my deposit, and I have not received any correspondence from the staff of bitdice.me in regards to my deposit. I sent multiple e-mails inquiring about the availability of my funds, none of which were answered.

While the amount of money is negligible, I take issue with any site that would hold player funds and not make them available in what would be a reasonable time frame.

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue, has had this issue solved, or if the admin has any response to the delay, and/or expected availability of my funds.

Hello,

I've reindexed old wallets two days ago and 5 people who emailed me and asked in chat got their funds back. Can you email again to [email protected]?

Regards,
Alex

So what would be the best or most ideal investment type from your perspective/experience?

The Kelly criteria says that 1x is the optimal risk point (click the image to see the article containing it):

Just-Dice uses 0.5x because it has a much lower volatility for not much less return.

hey guys,

what is the difference between for example investing 10m redd with 1x kelly VS 1m redd with 10x kelly? are they the same?

Obviously the biggest difference is that if the site runs off with your coins then in one case you lose 10 times as much as in the other case. By depositing 10 times less, and setting the 'kelly' 10 times higher you are reducing your counter-party risk.

If you invest 10m with 1x kelly, you're risking 1% of 10m per roll, or 100k
If you invest 1m with 10x kelly, you're risking 10% of 1m per roll, or 100k

So the first roll is the same in both cases.

But suppose you win 100k from that first roll.

Now the 10m/1x investment has grown to 10.1m, risks 1% of that on the next roll, or 101k
and the 1m/10x investment has grown to 1.1m, risks 10% of that on the next roll, or 110k

Alternatively, suppose you lost 100k from that first roll.

Now the 10m/1x investment has shrunk to 9.9m, risks 1% of that on the next roll, or 99k
and the 1m/10x investment has shrunk to 0.9m, risks 10% of that on the next roll, or 90k

So although they start out risking the same per roll they quickly diverge due to the effect of compounding.

So what would be the best or most ideal investment type from your perspective/experience?
