Dividend has been paid Smiley
Sorry about the delay!
//DeaDTerra

Why did you pay out more per share than the original dividend?

2013-04-12 09:44:16   18,599   ฿0.00701174   ฿130.41135226
I will double check with Friedcat I paid the exact amount I got from FriedCat.
Maybe he forgot to tell me about a transfer.

Thanks TradeFortress and FrankTank.  Good info.

I do believe posts like those help outsiders and those newly exposed and learning like myself, see the value in G.ASICMINER-PT -- encouraging us to buy more or hold longer the shares.

The clearer it is and if the value is really in the share, the better it is to expose it since it keeps the share prices stable or drives them higher.

I would think showing the good value of G.ASICMINER-PT is something we all want if we already own them.

Are partial weeks of ownership counted towards dividends?

Please post a schedule, showing if there is a cutoff start time and date at which point we need to purchase shares in order to start accruing credit towards a dividend.

Also, please post a schedule showing the date (and estimated hour) at which point dividends will be posted.

It's frustrating to try predict -- even researching -- looking at the previous history seems confusing since a few payments look like they are seven days apart but then there's a short few days and a new dividend is posted.

Any predictability and clearly posted FAQ will enhance the value of G.ASICMiner-PT since people will see the benefits better.

Div Pay Dates     Div/Share
02/29 (IPO)         0.023545
03/06 (IPO)         0.019163
03/13 (IPO)         0.023786
03/20 (IPO)         0.025998
03/24 (IPO)         0.007508
03/27                 0.003775
04/03                 0.002556
04/10                 0.006956

Dividends are paid every Wed; passthrus (like BF and BTCT) have about 24 hour window leeway. If you don't want to deal with that window, don't buy shares through passthroughs. It's the trade off of having more liquidity. Updates every Thursday. If you want to know their hash rate, someone has been kind enough to update it on a 3-4 hour period.

Do realize that everyone else has put in the time to know what they're investing into, complaining that everything isn't handed to you will not help your case here. If you want to know the "window" of buying shares for the divs and then dumping them ASAP, then that's something you'll have to find out on your own.

Best of luck

Yes. You get full divs if you hold a share at time of payout. That's all.

That depends on when ASICMINER issues dividends (it has varied before), and DT's schedule

That's ASICMINER's payment changes.. generally divs are paid after 6-16 hours.

That won't actually happen because of your manual withdraw system?

Actually, you can:

move('', 'your_account', 99999)

Just saying Smiley

Works great until people go to withdraw and there's no actual coins.  Wink

Good point tho.

Why do G.ASICMINER-PT dividends come through so much slower than burnside's ASICMINER-PT on btct.co?
Because he can issue BTC on his platform while not having them/he has float that he can pay with.
He's also in a time zone where it's better timed for the dividend.
//DeaDTera

It's the latter.  btct.co uses bitcoind backed accounts, I can't jury-rig balances.  Tongue  I do keep a balance in my personal account, but a bunch of orders would get cancelled if I used it.

We've been getting a lot of transactions stuck at 0 confirmations lately, sometimes for hours, even when paying a tx fee.  DT's probably dealing with a lot of the same transaction lag too.
