Do you think they stopped their signature campaign because they do not have the funds to run it ?
I doubt this may be the reason because Bitget is one of those exchanges that is very much active and they get enough money in the form of fees (and that is just one source) to have a marketing budget too.
I cannot speculate why they stopped their signature campaign, and it isn't even right to do so. However, i am certain it was not due to lack of funds, they are a big exchange as far as i know, probably they didn't see results, or they don't want to spend money advertising that way, so they chose a different route.
But as you said, they opted for a free advertisement (in way of shilling) which is never going to help them in a positive way.
It is not totally free, i am sure the shillers get paid. But maybe in worthless tokens or a very little amount of money, which costs the exchange little or nothing.

I totally agree with you Lucius, to think they started a signature campaign in August last year, but stopped it after just two weeks and then resorted to this type of advertising, is beyond explanation. Maybe this vile method of advertising is cheaper for them, but what they do not know is that they are not doing their reputation any good in the forum.

@Z-tight, I am sure that they know very well what they are doing and that this way of advertising obviously gives results on those forums/social networks where no one pays attention to such things. On one of the links you posted, you can see that they were paid in some kind of tokens, maybe this is still the case today - but it all boils down to the fact that they all do the dirty work for their employers and get some worthless tokens in return.

Unfortunately, as is the case with bounty campaigns, we see that people are ready to do really stupid things for minimal compensation, even when there is a possibility that they will never be paid.

No offense, but in that case you hardly follow the forum, because their method of promotion is always the same - but let's say that 80% of users of this or any other forum are completely unaware that someone is literally promoting something right in front of their noses. I call it vile advertising, and it's something I despise, especially if the advertiser is swimming in money and doesn't want to pay for honest advertising.

All I heard is some bad words about them but with no proof.  Roll Eyes

Scam accusation against whom Bitget exchange or  Bitget wallet ?
I never came across any such scam accusation against them but maybe I do not have much exposure  Huh
The Bitget wallet is the official software of Bitget exchange, so they are connected. I haven't personally seen any accusations myself, nor much talk about the Bitget brand on Bitcointalk, that's why I was surprised that there are such incidents. Findingnemo mentioned a few scam accusations and curious cases. That's why I said what I did.

If you haven't, then i think you should check these threads[1][2], to get updated, it is compilations of Bitget shillers on the forum. It's not the worst shilling we can see on a forum like this, but surely it is bad for their reputation if they have to do that to advertise their service here.

I have stored some funds on bitget wallet and sometime i use Bitget exchange for coins, that i want to buy or trade and that aren't avaiable on binance but i would be very cautious now as the comments from difference users about bitget aren't very positive here  Shocked
I don't know of any scam accusation against this exchange, what i know is that they hire shillers to shill their service in this forum and this has affected their reputation in the forum. Nevertheless, even if an exchange is free from any accusation and it seems they have a clean reputation, you shouldn't still store your funds in there, centralized exchanges can confiscate your funds anytime, or get hacked anytime too.

Anyway i truly know that we should not keep funds on any exchange no matter how much trusted it is. But for trading too, we have to move funds to the exchange and I would not be comfortable moving even small funds to exchange whom reputation is not good even though they may not have active scam accusations against them.

I have heard of the Bitget exchange, and know it's one of the partners and sponsors of Juventus football club. You can see its logo on their sleeve. I have also seen the exchange being advertised in Serie A matches. The Bitget wallet is a companion app of that exchange. I have never heard of anyone use either of the two services, but it's surprising to me that there are scam accusations against them. It wouldn't be the first time, though. 1xBet (connected to 1xBit) is also a sponsor in the Italian football league, but anyone who follows this forum knows about the awful reputation of 1xBit.

If he is looking for some freebies, which aren't exactly free, but nothing is these days, he should keep an eye on their Twitter profile to see what events are currently ongoing. For example, they have a trading competition that's going live soon. Registration starts in a couple of minutes. Similar promotions will be advertised on Twitter.

So to clarify this, according to what you say, if I create a wallet in Bitget wallet I will get 50 points right away? Is that right? What if I can only enter $100  in the amount of money in the BitGet wallet? Will I still get points? Because I would like to try it since you have been using it for 2 years and you are a reputed account member here on the forum, I will believe you. Please PM me your referral code, since I got the idea from you.

In my other question, you mentioned that when you have a balance of $1,000, you will get 100 daily rewards points, right? What if my amount balance in the BitGet wallet is less than $1,000? Then, after 1 month or 2 months, when I reach $1,000, will my daily rewards start in this app's wallet? thank you
You're late. The event is done, so you won't get any points anymore.

According to their app: Mar 18 - Apr 28

"The BWB Points airdrop campaign has concluded. BWB Points redemption will begin shortly. Please wait patiently."

Also came late as I saw whales.market pre-market has some orders at $0.1 per point.

Yeah that's true. But I noticed that they're celebrating 6 years anniversary with some exclusive merch. He may give it a try, requirements isn't dicey

Yes I am farming this airdrop fro a week and now I have 700 points with 3600 rank. Bitget exchange is on the No12 ranking in the coinmarketcap and I will say that it is safe exchange so far. Bitget wallet is officially managing by bitget exchange. Their first name was Bitkeep which is rebranded to bitget wallet now. I am using the wallet for more then 2 years and I found it save DYOR

Ok here is my strategy to farm this airdrop

Create full new wallet, you will get 50 points
Enter Refer code of someone (you will get 20 points).
Now Send 200$ worth matic, eth(optimism network) or any low fee network token. Bridge to usdt and usdc and then daily swao usdt-usdc usdc-usdt to make 1000$ volume daily. You will get 100 points daily. I am expected 500$-1500$ profit from this airdrop.

This bitget wallet has been around for a long time.
Simply because a wallet has been around for a long time does not mean that it is recommended. You should check if the wallet is open source and if you have been reading this topic, you would know by now that bitget wallet isn't open source and that they hire shillers to shill their service in this forum, which is bad practice.
Maybe because with this style, similar to what you are doing, I can also gain points to qualify if ever the Bitget wallet has airdrops. And since you said it's okay and you don't have any problems, I'm also confident enough to use it. Thanks for the information anyway.
Goodluck with that, but do your own research about every wallet before use, do not depend only on what a few persons say about the wallet.

This bitget wallet has been around for a long time. I just downloaded it to my mobile device one day, but I have never experienced transferring funds. So probably next week I will try to transfer to do at least some swapping activities.

People trust Unstoppable wallet even without such promotional things and this clearly shows the difference of reliability between the two wallets.
Unstoppable wallet is open source, so surely it would be the recommended option amongst people who know how important it is to use open source softwares. However, if you want to use it for multiple coins, take note that Unstoppable wallet does not offer as many coin options as a wallet like trust wallet for example and from the reviews i have read about the wallet, it also has syncing issues.

I just don't know how much money needs to be entered in Bitget to do such things to qualify for their future aid.
I believe op knows all this and this is not what they are looking for, op wanted to know if Bitget wallet is open source and recommended and if they can move their funds from Unstoppable wallet to it. However, Bitget wallet is not recommended and it is better to stick with Unstoppable wallet, they also hire shillers to spam their name in the forum, which gives them a bad reputation in the eyes of some users.

Yes, I understand this and after reading the comments above from the people here, I got even more alert on checking the wallet before thinking of participating in any campaigns/promotions or using it for long term storage.

I thought that Unstoppable Wallet never needed this type of cheap advertisement to ask people to deposit in the wallet in order to qualify for the airdrops. People trust Unstoppable wallet even without such promotional things and this clearly shows the difference of reliability between the two wallets.
