I'm good as long as it comes in the end, but won't lie, things like this make me a bit nervous...

Anyone else missed their payout today?  Is it just late or...?

It's MIA for me, too.  Sometimes thing break over the weekend a take a little time to fix.

Any thoughts on this, Bitmain?

Your best bet is to pick a pool and stick with it, whichever pool it is.  Pool hopping will tend to cost you in the long run, especially if you hop pools that tend to mathematically discourage pool hopping.  Sticking to one pool over the course of months will help even out luck and glitches anyway.  If your back-up pool is recording your hash rate when your machines switch, then you will recover most of your potential lost earnings when they send you your next payout.

All great points.  I'll stick with Antpool for 90 days then.  At least I know the backup pools work correctly.

Whoever wrote in the ability to switch to backup pools automatically in the OS running on these machines was a genius, plain and simple...it's the best feature of these miners!

It's part of the cgminer code that, fortunately, Bitmain hasn't touched (screwed up)

That's a huge nugget of wisdom; thanks Kano!

And down we go again.

Yep - I saw it too.  Looks like my S5's are starting to revert back to Antpool again though.  I'll watch Antpool for the next 72 hours and if it doesn't stabilize a bit, I'll swap them to the backup and point my TH at Slush's.

Blips like these come and go...it usually only affects a small percentage of us at a time.  I seem to have been spared the one today and the one from two days ago as my S5's never switched.  I can see the dip in hashrate from both events but for me it was negligible each time.  The AntPool has been amazingly stable for the past several weeks.

I was asleep but for two hours my miners went to backup pool. (I am in central US.)

This is the second time in 3 days that this pool has hiccuped.  I've only been mining this pool for a few weeks now so I don't know it's history.  Is this normal?

It's actually been unusually stable for a while now. They had a lot of problems with both pool servers and web servers in the past but they have gradually improved. It's obvious that they, to a large degree, learn as they go.

PS! My machines are back now.

Pool hashrate dropped from 68.7 to 52.7 PH.

Interesting - so not everyone was dropped....
