Holy crap, 17,863 D3 in this batch.  I am starting to regret yesterdays buy now.  Funny how china exchanges go down, now all the sudden bitmain has plenty of stock.

Funny indeed...

LOL 17k D3 ?

it's already around 100k at the end of November 😁😁
if all quantities are real
the only hope for profibility is if bitmain sticks to trend and was mining with this hardware for six months before they sold it
unfortunatly numbers doesn't add up for that, global hashrate currently fluctuating from 30 to 40 th acording to whattomine, if it's 40th it means only 2.5k D3 is on and nothing else that's just not realistic

where do we get the order numbers from?

The listing page's source code shows the remaining count. The number decreases as people make orders and the item sells out when it reaches 0. Many here have assumed that each time they do a batch, they are actually selling that many units. I have no doubt that there are enough orders to add up to the total number offered, but I do doubt that a significant portion actually pay. I don't believe Bitmain is selling from a pre-defined number that they already have planned to make. Rather, I think they have a general idea of how many they want to sell and continue to put out batches of "20,000" until enough people actually pay and they reach the number they're shooting for. We may have seen 100,000 orders go through, but I'd wager that less than 30,000 will actually be paid for and shipped. That's still a huge number and I'm totally speculating here - I have no insider knowledge and could be completely wrong. We won't know for sure until November.

On their last website update last weekend, they actually moved that code to the actual cart from the product page (sneaky).

That says to me they are directly monitoring this page..

I'm following this thread to see when the shipping-notices start going out - but reading about these many toasters being shipped off makes me sad.
Almost like they wanna make a race to destroy their customer's roi with pumping so many units out.
Just got a fedex-deliveryNote  Cool

Well, the following months will be interesting for sure.
But I guess I'm not ordering more D3s for november, as this is the 3rd sale for this period? I guess they want to move all units out, until they can make room for a new dash miner.

i keep trying to buy one directly from bitmain but their site keeps getting ddosed during the sales where i can put the order in my cart and then it either crashes or i cant get my order through. what kills me is the resellers hitting us with the 3x on the base price making it basically unreasonable to buy one off of amazon or the forums.

I still think these numbers are way higher than the real number being produced. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I can also confirm that I got through on the regular English site for 2 x D3. This is the first time I have made it all the way to checkout. Ever. Looks like D3's and L3+ are for sale. I'm not using a VPN or doing anything special. Thanks for the heads up guys.
