I don't think that Bitmain want to sell all of their D3 inventory. They want miners always chase their products. Some sources of mine in China states WHALES don't want small fishes in the game and they got majority of the miners in China before selling to the world. It is not hard to pretend their web site is so busy and you don't get the reach out proper site to order product. I think they are playing with customers.

Last week one of my China contact said they sold 150 L3+ for $4200 and if you don't have big money, you are not in the game.

Clueless!
i dont understand this  politics behind bitmain and there selling? Innosilicon or iBelink has not this huge batches and releases. Why they do such horrible tactics?

I think what we're seeing isn't a case of horrible tactics, but rather a lack of tactics altogether. This is what happens when you have an insanely popular product and don't manage the traffic. It would be interesting to see them create a different kind of ordering process in which the bottleneck isn't the site. Perhaps something could be done using crypto. Regardless, I'm just thankful it isn't an auction.

why bother...if you don't have to upgrade your www sales site (likely big bucks) and it sells out say in East Asia ..because they can get in......especially if 20k of units in 40 min...

well ...let them eat cake ..its a win/win...no website upgrade and you sell out in 40 min instead of 20 min

If you are from the philippines I can help you with the unit. Smiley also just a hint bitmain customers are not small time miners big business man already bought the units ang reselling it that is why the price has gotten up.

We have a store in 999 mall so legit is legit

There's no way they sold out that many units in 40 minutes....

The L3+ didn't even sell out that fast, and that batch was half the size of this one...

The last batch of L3+ sold out in 30 mins. I got in at 10:02 (they released at 10:00 my time) and got some in cart. It let me in once more at 10:08 but said they were sold out. Someone needs to explain how they sold 20k units in 8 minutes. I dont see it happening.

Well, I show 2 of something in the cart (again likely psu's) but have to mess with this till I find out....

(really, doubt if there are 2 frigging D3's there even at $1,450 that I'll pull the trigger)

edit: saw above post sold out ..probably for the best....I have more crypto then sense....

Surely they didn't just sell 20k units that quickly. I was able to get in 2 minutes after they released them, which is the fastest I've ever been able to get in. I added a few to my cart and then it kicked me out and never let me back in again. I'm still trying. The exact same thing happened to me on the last batch of L3+. I've never really had this much trouble. I usually am able to get in after 15 to 30 mins and get my order placed.

I mean really, they sold out 20k of units in 1/2 hour or so? .....sheesh

the 2nd batch and 3rd batch 1 D3's are doorstops sometime this winter if that is true....that is just bizarre!!!

still trying to get into cart for psu's (hey I have no life)

I also saw in the hidden code that only 50 items can be ordered per user.  So not sure how 20k sold that quick.

Maybe something's wrong.

It's Bitmain, so WHO knows.
