Well, not losing ground....
17.5gh unit (an example mine does 16gh) at 1200 watts (what mine gets at 16gh) at 12c kWh comes out to:
$5.80 (dash) (probably better on a multi-coin pool like prohashing.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/dash?HashingPower=17.5&HashingUnit=GH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1200&CostPerkWh=0.12I have a 19.2gh D3 that does get a bit over that...between the two..I get about 35gh even
or for both per day
$11.60 per day....
As an example of the 'unfairness of life," my Nov 8th, 2014 300mh KNC Titan Scrypt-Pow ASIC miner (still running today) makes
$9.39 a day 100% on Prohashing point to LTC.
So yeah, my 2014 machine is almost making 2x the Bitman D3 I got 2 months ago. FML.
The Titan was a few weeks ago making less than the $5.80 per day than the D3....but prices changed for LTC and POW-Scrypt,
we can only hope for more price rises for x11 coins...but it is all 'hope and mirrors' now.it is out of our hands....but that is quite the difference age/$$$/etc
for admittedly different flavor ASIC machines.
ON THE OTHER HAND the 300mh Baikal Cube I ran this last summer just on DASH ...(then in like Sept put it on Prohashing and with D3's and all to LTC)
at 6.51 Dash at $1,392.70 as I look at this for Dash.... or a total of $9,066.48... lol
So, I'm taking the cowards way out on the Bitmain D3's and instead of saying my Bitmain 2 D3 units of dubious purchase fame...will likely never ROI with electric...
I NOW say on my X11 mining experiences of choosing equipment have made ROI!
I just have to toss the 300mh Baikal cube in with the other 2 D3's and yes 'MY EGO IS SAVED"
(It's all about me damn it!)
Life is so frigging weird...
