You need to ask Bitmain about that, we are unable answer you.
Most likely that looks like it's logistics company fault.
Thanks, will ask them. In fact this is not Bitmain's fault. The rig travelled to US and then to another country, and was damaged somewhere on the way.
I just wonder will BM fix it for money at least.
I think Bitmain has a clause it is not responsible for damage via carrier. Pretty sure your only course is thru the shipper.
Due to some reasons (negligence of the receiving hosting provider who did not inspect the shipment on arrival and did not make any comments on the courier documents) I can't claim for compensation from the shipper or courier.
So I need to decide, is it worth of spending $300 (DHL price) for the shipping to Bitmain, and asking BM for repair, or better just throw this D3 away...
send a pic first..they likely won't repair this and refer you back to the shipping company
but no, likely at D3 mining not worth the price IMHO
is there any board or anything salvageable of any note on this unit...you might get something for a board....assuming it half-assed works (doubtful)
you could contact Lightfoot on here...he may simply look at it for free..he is in the USA and repairs knc titans and stuff..perhaps you'd get lucky
ask him, he likely would not charge you zip if it is unfixable
on a side note, you should with a picture at LEAST IMHO, be able to take this off your gross income as equipment for a complete loss, even if
you did not use it as such, for equip deduction.....not sure which is better or any difference...
good luck, but a few pictures to Lightfoot may be helpful to at least know if any hope or not.....
but again, at least you'd have the view of a miner tech on this beast (again pics...)
tell him I sent you
but if he says it is fixable you may have the same problem too much to expect vs price
good luck
