Hopefully they mean DASH and not DSH (DASHcoin), kinda confusing, they got the picture of the DASH logo tho so..
DASH and X11 algorithm is a different story, we have already seen plenty of ASIC stuff from for example PinIdea, Baikal, Ibelink....

Wow thats a really big thing, but we need to consider that iblink has sold about 1k or 3k miners at 11GH speed, shipping in august, and baikal is cooking something too, its going to be interesting but bitmain should in a long run beat them all- more capital to invest.

lol nice one from bitmain i think they are going to take over the altscene more now that they plan to create their own fork of bitcoin, next one will be siacoin or other big altcoin that are becoming popular, and that thing look that will have almost instant roi with only 1 btc price lmao

Yeah hard to tell what will happen with the iBeLink coming out and I haven't really seen any info on how many iBeLink DM11Gs were presold. One thing for sure is that difficulty is going to soar. I'm guessing that the D3 will only do X11.

Even if you don't plan on mining with this thing you could resell it for quite a bit if you want to become one of those people (Depending on how much you mine, 5k+ is possible and depending on Bitmain delivery and batch production). Shame I'm about twenty bucks short because of UPS shipping costs. Bitmain plans on shipping this out in September if you read the description.

Would pull about $210 a day if you had it right now.
Shipping is 2 months away. Looks like Dash difficulty went up 300% in trailing 2 months. If the same is expected, you are looking at $70/day profit on day one and declining fast.
It could be interesting if they gave a 2 month grade period like they gave early L3+ adopters.

Antminer has pretty much always delivered on their promises but this looks exactly like an L3+. Except for the original L1, that is, which was cancelled IIRC. Going to keep my eyes peeled, seems Bitmain wants to get their feet wet on all ends. Imagine the resale for this beast.
Also, for guys using mining calculators, remember the iBeLink DM11G is also coming out, which will presumably be this thing's rival. Expect enormous profitability drops and difficulty hikes when they come out. This could kill everything Baikal has, as well as Pinidea.

By the way, at the product page there is Antminer L3+ in the picture when you download it and look it closely.
I guess they don't have a prototype for the D3 yet or they just haven't took a picture of it yet.

One thing for sure though is that the difficulty will be rising A LOT, so doing a profitability calculator at the moment is not that accurate when you think about the possible situation in September.
