I have S9 12.93TH hashboard sent to bitmain HK for repair (out of warranty) batch 13, 2016, they said it cannot be repaired anymore, scrap it or send back. WHY cannot?  Huh Undecided i asked them and havent replied why.
Anyone know who can repair this? in Asia location please or USA. Thanks~!

what is the problem with the S9? Maybe they do not have parts.

So guys we are waiting for S11 mid-June?
Does anyone know what's the anticipated hash rate and electricity consumption?  Huh

The question really is, even if they introduce new hardware do we trust them anymore? No matter how much hashing power or how low the power consumption is, if they sell too many, difficulty will moon making it all pointless again.

When they introduced the S9 did they limit the sales (like the 2 minute windows we got in Jan/Feb) or unlimited fill your boots availability?

Has anyone here heard of rumors about the near launch of an Antminer S9i?
I know someone who claims that Bitmain is going to launch a mining rig (Antminer S9i) that mines Bitcoin at 35% decreased use of electricity.
The launch is supposed to be on 1st April. Does anyone have more information on this?

So I’ve been pretty pissed about paying $2750 for my 3rd S9 when my 1st 2 we’re only $1415 each. But I have now realized that not only does she average over 14 th/s, but IS SUPER QUIET! I’m reading 62 dB right next to her while my others come in around 82db on average. Anyone else see these results? The new k e has the Sunon fan not the Yate Loons.

My first s9 december 2017 batch is quieter than my others, ( but because fan running lower ) and hashing around 14th/s too... But i've flashed the firmware at the begining.

That cant be right. 62 DB is still pretty noisy but I believe your DB meter isnt properly calibrated. By right, when u put machines together, the noise amplifies itself to become louder.

Just retested. Same meter, without moving it. Just measured about 84-85 with old S9’s and 68 on the new. Had the meter 6 inches at most from intake fans. Miners are side by side by side and I measured 1 at a time. It is extremely notably quieter and running great.

for anyone placing a large order from Bitmain to the USA, did you need a customs bond?

I used Fed-Ex for a large order (well over $50K) and did not require anything other than registering my name, address, and SSN with Fed-Ex.  ok... perhaps my e-mail too.

Less expensive machines means the machine will get cheaper as well as cheaper eventually, meaning old and more mature customers simply lose out.

Yes, we had to have one once our order sizes went above $50k.

What can I ask are you mining with all those Antminers?

This was from the batch in January that I just received in the last few weeks.

Thanks, I hoping there was a magic fix. I'll prob just wait toward the end of the warranty and return it to be fixed. I just hate paying the $100+ to send back to China

I have a S9 and T9 plus missing chips they do not show an "x" or "o". Can someone point me a way to get these chips running. I have updated the firmware, that didnt work. They are both under a month old. This is what my s9 screen looks like:

3m49s 10,819.24 10,792.57 0 9,101 18.60 156,685.41 576586

6 54 637.00 3,921.37 1,612.16 5 - -   oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooo
7 63 650.00 4,667.64 4,656.63 0 - 72 oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo
8 63 639.14 4,543.43 4,550.45 1 - 72 oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo

Anyone who wants to dm me a solution that works I'll send a bitmain coupon

There is no magic software fix for this, you have failed hardware components. You need to RMA the boards if you want them to work fully.

sorry for you, wich batch isi it please ?

I've red here I think, that someone received the S9 after RMA without anything changed and with the same issues. And he had to pay once again the customs !!! Hope it wont be your case ( or mine if/when I 'll have to use RMA )

Seriously, why not allow us to send only the parts with issues when they are clearly identified ?!
