I have been doing a little testing. I don't have one in person so no high res pictures to share of the unit. But I can say it seems to run very well right around 14T just as expected. It reported very close to the 14T with very low hardware errors. So again all signs here point to good things.
I used Antpool to get a 24 hour baseline which was at 13.72 TH/s. Again this is a early test and the slightly lower hashrate could be due to things such as network variance, pool performance, unit itself, etc. I do plan on testing other pools for more baselines. On the picture below is also an S7 just as reference. The S9 does tower above it on it's hashing speed.

any comments on the temps and fans - did you hear any "woo-woo" sound like the S7s?

i would maybe buy one of theese after the halving and if it gets a little cheaper

I should look into that for mine. At home I have a 11kw permanent genset that kick's in after ~30sec so the on-battery time is minimal but I DO like that remote power cycling. Neva thought of that.

I have some of the Sinewave Line Interactive models. I don't use them for always on though, miners go on the NCL bank and get turned off after just a few minutes if the power goes out and stays out. Servers are on the main bank. But what is super cool about having them is you can remotely power cycle the NCL bank as long as you have access to a computer on the same network. So if I am away and a miner acts up and I remote in and still can't make it cooperate I can power cycle it which pretty much always brings it back to life.
Thats interesting. I have similar setup I've noticed sometimes when the power cycles thought It sometimes won't reconnect to the network, Had issues with this for a while now. seems intermitten sometimes it works. sometimes it hangs. nothing.

On target for price. Got mine through PCM/TigerDirect Biz. Since they have the terminals for adding additional battery packs, I wonder how they would take to using solar? They are perfectly happy running off of only DC so... Use the solar array to feed them and when the array drops below useful power, have the dry contact relay in the UPS toggle a changeover to the AC line.
Also that particular one uses an auto-switching transformer setup = 1 cycle-or more xfr time. Mine are the https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups/smart-app-online/ol3000rtxl2u that are always on line eg, converting AC to DC and then back to perfect 120VAC or whatever you program output.
edit: available in 120v and 240v flavors as well. Of course I found that out AFTER getting the 120v one and using a step-up for feeding the miner PSU's...

Got a nice shiny new Cyberpower 3kVA dual-conversion UPS hooked for it at home just a-waitin' for it Love those things -- 0 transfer time because it's always on-line and depending on the %of max load on them, they can keep running off the line down to -60% nominal. have heard something like, difficulty will decrease and it will not be easy for miners to earn through mining..
Difficulty decrease would mean earnings increase (lower difficulty makes it "easier" to find blocks). "Halving" will reduce the block reward, which makes miners earn less but that's not the only factor that determines profitability.
I would suggest to read up on the fundamentals, e.g. difficulty, block reward, miner efficiency, exchange rates, etc. There is no simple answer, such as "profitable" or "not profitable". There are multiple variables and you need to understand how they affect profitability.

My 5 pcs S9`s has been delivered and will be online tomorrow... since the ordered PSU`s was shipped one day later 
Well that sucks.
I wish mine came today. I have psu's aching to give juice to them.
