That is posted on the main exchange trading site....where the troll box use to be

so I suggest that we:
> - 1. Contact Tristan and see how to leverage their marking system/code/knowledge outside of the exchange...sharing that reputation algo may be something he is okay with...or not - but worth trying

> -2. Reaching out to other exchanges that may want to capitalize on using Marking in this context - (now that Polo left a void)

@medic_007 hey medic, totally agree with your points 1,2,3 ... aside from raising tickets, we've had limited success engaging polo to date ... i guess they are super busy and we dont have much in the way of resources. It seems our top priority as it's your most significant marking deployment. Do you think it's something you might be able to help lead?

re the hard fork proposal, I would say it's in R&D right now, but has achieved the impressive milestone of a testnet ... there isnt a consensus around the proposal (either user consensus, miner consensus or developer consense), the motivational arguments I find not as concrete as they could be -- eg there is claim of a double spend (which may or may not have happened) that are not yet documented anywhere, and any kind of hard fork has a high chance of failure ... I am however inspired by coins you are familiar with such as GMC which seem to have tweeked their difficulty rebase successfully to avoid the famine / feast issues of coinwarz

Glad we are on the same page & Yes, I will be happy to lead that effort.

As for the TestNet, while it is in R&D at the moment, I feel that we should set a reasonable time frame in which testing shall be completed. A final decision shall need to reached at this time. As for consensus, we should address who is expected to provide input & vote. While a push to get a majority of our user-base involved, I feel it is simply an unlikely goal given our current environment. That said, we should revisit our consensus goals....
