I have sent BTC to my address How long does it take to clear the pending funds, i was hoping it was instant Huh
It is instant, unless the amount is unusually large, or empties the exchanges hot wallet. I don't see any pending withdrawals so I assume you got the funds. If not, PM me your username, the amount, and the address you were withdrawing too and I'll take a look.

What code are you running for your exchange? Is it open source in anyway?
It's custom code written by me in the Ur/Web programming language. It's not open source at this stage.

I'm trialing a PPCoin exchange at https://ppcexchange.bitparking.com. It works similar to my  namecoin and litecoin exchanges. If you register please include an emergency PPC and BTC withdrawal address when prompted so the exchange can refund coins if it needs to close.

The deposit addresses are permanent - they don't change and you can send to them multiple times - which is different from how my namecoin exchange operates.

What code are you running for your exchange? Is it open source in anyway?

I recall doublec saying he wouldn't open another exchange for alternative cryptocurrencies unless of course he thought it would survive the long term. Great ppc exchange.

Hi doublec,
Thanks a lot for the effort. If you plan to use checkpoint to confirm deposit as you mentioned earlier please let me know when you implement it. I will update you of any planned checkpoint policy change.
Current checkpoint policy is on every proof-of-work block and up to 4 hours for consecutive proof-of-stake blocks. This policy is expected to last at least through 2nd month of ppcoin network.
Central checkpoint is best effort as it may experience down time. Rule of thumb is block chain is solidified up to where you see with getcheckpoint RPC call.
  Best Regards,

Any chance of being able to add PPCoin to mergemining?
It's not possible to merge mine PPCoin with bitcoin. The PPCoin designers did not add this functionality (by design) and making the changes to the coin would not be network compatible with existing PPCoin miners. A pool could probably merge mine PPCoin with the other alt coins (Namecoin, etc) if they added the appropriate patches to PPCoin though since this is generally network compatible.

It would be better than having to use failover or rotate with cgminer.
