Indeed. This is good. But I'm still sort of clueless as to what exactly I can do with the original idea of the Bitshares network. That and PTS and Angelshares. PTS mining is pretty much in a dump because of the it's high difficulty now and that's getting worse because miners are moving due to the lack of profit.

Is it still in beta? Afaik,there is no windows version unless you build from source yourself and even then there are issues that people are having saying that it is not working fully as intended. Any news on when the bitshares network will open to full functionality?

So if you have 1000$ right now, what you do ? PTS or AGS ?
PTS is always the safer route. If no DAC snapshot is announced soon you could always trade for another crypto.

Am I right to say, donating the PTS to become AGS right now is more worth it than holding PTS?
Would be smart to buy and hold PTS right now until the next DAC snapshot is announced. Once this announcement takes place you can value holding PTS or trading for AGS.
PTS is dirt cheap right now. Look what happened when the BTS snapshot was announced. This rise in price gave you freedom to hold PTS, trade PTS for AGS, or sell PTS all together for a profit and perhaps buy BTS after launch.
Compared to other alt's, PTS brings additional value and rewards those who hold long term.

Depends. PTS is liquid and can be traded on exchanges. It would probably also have value in and of itself (as just another altcoin) unlike AGS. But if all you need is equity in future DACs, then you're right (check the numbers in any case though for that particular day when you want to donate). April 19, 2014, 08:58:27 AM
