Check it out, and let me know what you think!
It doesn't work very well for me. Often all 3 reels just flicker between 2 or 3 reel positions and stay like that until I refresh the page. One time the first 2 reels stopped but the 3rd didn't. The 3rd kept showing various configurations of 'Z's, but no hint of a 'B', even though the reel was still spinning, it appeared to be entirely made of 'Z's, and never stopped spinning.
I think I'd like a higher contrast between 'on' and 'off' graphics for the pay-line indicator graphics. They currently look too similar.
I'm not sure what's going on with my Internet connection (or your server, perhaps?) I got ping times like I always get - 700ms is standard for my satellite Internet connection:
$ ping bitzino.com

--- bitzino.com ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 received, 0% packet loss, time 17996ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 692.846/709.952/724.030/12.288 ms
but look at the total time: it took 18 seconds to do 4 <1s pings. I don't understand how that can be, but maybe it explains the poor experience I had.
Oh no, that doesn't sound good at all. Our servers seem to be operating smoothly - our response times are withing the 100-200ms range, which is the standard. However, even with a slow response time, you shouldn't be seeing the jittery graphics in that manner. However, we have noticed that in firefox, the framerate does drop when it's making a request, so maybe this has something to do with it. What browser were you doing the testing on?
I'll look into making the on and off indicators have a bigger visual difference.
Thanks for your feedback!
