I just "got" the hashtag  Embarrassed

Like the BlackLivesMatter thing i guess ?
I don't follow that type of thing so..

Kind of funny LOL

Space stuff is good though.. the more the better.
I prob got half a terabyte of downloaded Space Science shows saved on my HDD.
This type of crap is in my wheel house  Cool

#Black holes Matter

Are you going to tweet about this so we can start to get a movement going. All it takes is some tweets and some retweets and it could take off.

I did "create it myself" (after finding the article) having never seen it anywhere else. I searched before starting the thread and it is not the very first time the "hashtag" was used.

Are you going to tweet about this...
I don't use Twitter, so my one or two followers won't help much.  Smiley

Yes man. I did and will continue to do so until the hashtag goes viral and then we can be credited with it.  Grin You and I. Hombre and Hombre.

I am not sure the title you copied from the original story is fitting though..

"Trapped In" ?

Maybe more "Affected By" ?

We do know that black holes emit something contrary to many saying nothing escapes not even light.
A tired cliche'd phrase !
Science DOES know that i think it was Neutrino's for example come out of them.
Which is why people had postulated the idea of using Black-Holes as a star ship engine.
Not only that but..
Admitting *something* comes out of them means we are not violating Einstein's golden master rule.
Which is nothing can be destroyed.. ever !
All that happens is a change of state from one to another..
At best a state change from Energy to matter or vice versa..

Which means i am driving at.. then we never calculated the effects of these black holes properly !

Bottom line is i think when it comes to anything Black Hole related we as a whole are are still in the infancy of it all.
What we always have is the prevailing majority's opinion on Scientific matters.
And in time this changes !
Often weighted and swayed by our tests.
With out the tests for the presence of our galaxies black hole or with out the LIGO gravity waves tests
we would be further behind than we are now.. it all helps build the picture.

All i know is i am far more interested in being *inclusive* with peoples ideas.
It's what science is about.. try and re-check the data and get as much info as possible to evaluate
..then re-evaluate again !

in regard to the information paradox.. even if something fell into a black hole would it not continue to exist there? im not entirely sure what constitutes information death i guess. but i would assume that even though the information is smashed into a point it still exists and is not destroyed.

Light is supposed to bend when it is within gravitational force. So far, the only people claiming that light is seen to bend around a black hole is NASA. They claim their Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) has captured this spectacular event. But if this were true, we would see BH light bending through regular telescopes way more easily than light bent by stars.

In other words, Black Holes might be there, but the whole theory about what they are is wrong. Or else the whole theory about E=MC2 is wrong. But more than likely, they both are wrong.

I think that if something trapped in black hole, it should be moved somewhere and this somewhere is also a part of universe.

All the Black Hole Theories say that a BH, itself, is a single point. In math and physics, a single point is the place that comes between where the borders of things touch. In other words, points don't exist. Neither do Black Holes.

Stars really are alive. The Bible says that they are the angels.    Cool

What part of the bible says that?

Revelation 1:20, Jesus speaking to John:
Quote
The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Check out Revelation 12:4a where it talks about the tail of the dragon (Satan) sweeping a third of the stars out of the sky. Church scholars interpret this to mean that Satan gained his fallen-angel, demon horde from here. So, the stars are angels:
Quote
His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

You can check this for yourself at https://www.biblegateway.com/.

You might Google "angels are stars Bible."

They say the Sun could still have a twin.. just smaller etc.
But that they need to scan the outer reaches of the solar system more..
This does leave for it to be related to the 9th planet "discovery"

I think the Nibiru believers are about as scientific as Scientologists.
Get to an eMeter and get your Thetan count checked ASAP people !

Some speculated long ago Sirius the North Star was our binary
and they tried to explain it by saying our procession was proof.
I dunno bout that but it's an interesting idea.

Because that guy is right Stars are often binary pairs.

Anyway on topic.. i found the story interesting and i read many peoples comments on it too.
I was surprised to see people had many of the same ideas i had to explain dark matter / energy.
Sadly i have a child's math level so i can barley follow the stuff LOL

But this news story is saying pretty much what i have been thinking and mentioned before online.
I actually had a chat about this issue with some of the scientists who are friends with the ones on TV
..over on IMDB forums.
I said i've seen millions of science shows and when it comes to Black Holes they just repeat the same cliche'd stuff.
I said but uhhh where the hell did the Black Holes come from that are in the center of Galaxies then ?
I pointed out how all the shows were avoiding that issue.
Later they aired the next show and it was about what i said LOL
FINALLY they went into the science behind it.

I said if a planet has to collapse to create a black hole then holy cow how big were those planets that made the inner galaxy super massive black holes ?
We "believe" there is an upper limit of how big a Star can theoretically get
And these super massive black holes would far exceed any we know as possible.
Of course everyone has considered that they were Black-Hole mergers that made them larger
But i don't think that add's up !

I also don't think the math was done right and i posted an explanation about this before here.
For Dark Energy where i said Dark Matter was probably a by product relation to Black Holes.

So it's nice to see the Pro's out there are actually on the same page as me with this.
I agree with the guy in the Story.. they discounted the MACHO's too soon.
I have always been skeptical of WIMP's

I also don't think a Graviton will ever be found and hence making it NOT a fundamental force.
Like we always believe it was for ages.

The story mentioned the discovery of Gravity waves too !
The knowledge is fluid and we need to be open minded and re-check the math occasionally  Cheesy

But hey dig into the comments on this page..

I've ever heard an expert of astronomy (on geography channel if I'm not mistaken) said that universe is full of dark matter, but they can't prove it.

I heard there was some proofs for the existence of dark matter in the universe. But still lack of evidence for "full of" dark matter.

Ya i agree good point about the stigma with anything planet X related.

Are you talking about Nibiru, the sun's twin star?

Planet X exist, we agree with that. Most stars are binary in nature, usually we have two stars revolving round each other, that's the universe for you.

no that is definitively not what we are talking about. nibiru is not real. there is no twin of the sun. we are talking about this https://www.caltech.edu/news/caltech-researchers-find-evidence-real-ninth-planet-49523

Cheesy Cheesy i think black hole just a imagination

Well, you are half right.

Something has been observed through telescopes of various kinds. Part of the thing that they observe is the absence of light and other radiation at certain points in the skies. This means that there is something that is there that astronomers and cosmologists are trying to explain. This is the half that is not imagination.

The imagination part is the Black Hole Theory.

There are 3 major Big Bang Theories that don't fit together. There are 4 major Black Hole Theories that are all different. None of the Black Holes produced by the major Black Hole Theories could exist in any of the universes produced by the major Big Bang Theories.

The reality is that something exists out there that we have named "Black Holes." We have used our imagination to try to guess what they are.
