Nope,

You want your proxy to be asking for new work.   You also should see the "Submitted Blocks" going by as well.....

Thanks for so much!!! they should really make it more clear how to set one of these things up geeez....haha.

One more question, I set the difficulty at BTC guild at 8 as recommended.  I see on my Stratum proxy "ask for new work"

Is this a concern?

I'm getting no rejected shares.

where did you download it from?

ok so right click on the proxy and create a shortcut.
now right click the short cut and click properties
now in the line that says target click the blue selected text and scroll to the end
now paste this line
-o stratum.btcguild.com -p 3333 -gp 8332
make sure theres a gap between the last letter of the directory and the -o part of the command

now click ok
and double click the short cut and it should start your proxy

easiest way is log onto your router and look what ip the router assigned to your computer
the server address use your computer ip twice (i dont like this as if your computer crashs you mining stops)

ports will be 8332 depending if you changed them and how you configured the proxy

Ok got it.  The first ip is the one assigned to me.

In the server addresses:  do I enter it like this 192.168.0.***,stratum.btcguild.com?

And under user:pass    wotter11:x,wotter11:x

the server address is a bit more complex with everything using stratum it all needs to go through you stratum proxy
so in this case it would be you proxy computer
192.168.0.xxx,192.168.0.xxx
if you want a back up pool you need either a 2nd proxy or a getwork pool like bitminter
user and pass is correct

But how does it know that I'm on BTC Guild?  I just download the proxy stratum and ran it.

gateway is the ip address of your router
it should be in the same sequance as the blade ip address eg
router 192.168.2.1
blade ip 192.168.2.12

OK OK

Now I can connect to the blade through my router!!!! I should have came here first.

Next step do I set the Mask,Gateway, DNS as the same as my routers LAN settings?

I downloaded the Stratum proxy.

I'm using BTC Guild.

mask dosnt need changing
gateway router ip
dns1 is your router again
dns2 the one thats on your router from your isp (dont atually think it matters)

Done!

Now I have the Stratum proxy running.

For the server addresses I'm suppose to put 2 and what about my ports?

How do I find the ip address of my comp?  ipconfig or something.

Fire up the stratum proxy on your computer that you are going to use.   Make sure that you point the blade to the proxy....

Leave the mask as 255.255.255.0   The Gateway should be the IP address of your router, DNS setting can be the same as well..... I use 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS)

Trying this now.

My WAN ip address is : 192.168.1**

and my LAN ip address is: 192.168.0.**

What about all the mask and gateway settings on the blade?

Your WAN address does not matter so much....  Other than the Gateway, that needs to be in the config window....once you get there.

Your LAN adapter should be set to an address in the 192.168.1.XXX range.

Did you set up a stratum proxy?  You should also do that unless your pool is configured for that.

Post up your pool...So we can get your settings.  Also fill us in on your network?  Are you on a router?  What internet service are you using?

were taking this one step at a time so stop jumping way ahead...
internet service... irrelevant
network.... were on direct connection getting on the network now
