In general, the books are necessary in most of fields especially blockchain, but the question how to find the appropriate books for you?
Sometimes, we are wasting a lot of time in reading the inappropriate  books, that's fact and problem but you can  avoid it for sure when you take your time for choosing,  and remember that the unique titles of books are not really important when the content is not useful.
I created a thread   but before a long period , hope it would be helpful
What are the useful tips for beginners?
Good luck.

In this case, online blogs, or social media platforms turns out to be beneficial as they deeply give you latest updated news about the ongoing processes in cryptocurrencies.
That's the reason why selling books online are gradually disappearing. Because the demand was having low, probably this just because of modernization and every one of us are easy to browse on the internet if there's something we wanted to know? Just like using a dictionary, to be honest, I don't use a dictionary book, why should I? I used my phone for a quick result and the books we read might be outdated.

Selling a book online even though that is related to blockchain technology is has less chance will work. I strongly believe if you were personally selling at school or universities probably there is a high chance.

You will not find much demand for the blockchain books because people prefer to watch and learn through videos. As we move on the 5G technology, there would be more video lectures and people will be less reading books. I would suggest OP to make video lectures and do not focus much on writing stuff.

I noticed that (which is quite contradicting) it is hard to buy crypto and Blockchain books with actual crypto. Hence, I want to sell them for crypto.

Best,
Vince

If you sell it in internet the demand are not that higher because we already had it all in internet but if you sell it in a school that have blockchain related course or university that implemented high technology topics, then the demand will be higher. but don't expect too much for it. if you want everyone to buy it you need a higher marketing strategy to make it in demand and that's your final attempt to sell blockchain and crypto books.

If you're interested in investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies you should check out one of these books:
https://coincodex.com/article/5940/top-5-books-every-crypto-investor-should-read/
There actually are a number of books if you want to start investing in the cryptocurrencies but what I think is that investing in cryptocurrencies by just reading these books can be fatal. Cryptocurrencies are actually a digital currency and their value keeps on changing with time.

Each investor who invest in the cryptocurrencies should always be updated to the markets and books can not actually keep you updated as it is not possible for you to reach each new book each week just to stay updated. In this case, online blogs, or social media platforms turns out to be beneficial as they deeply give you latest updated news about the ongoing processes in cryptocurrencies.

Do you have your concept ready for that? Also have you ever sold a book online?
Would you re-ship the books or you are an author who will personally write those books and sell them online for cryptos?

There are a number of such questions and if you could answer each of such question to yourself than yes, you could start a e-commerce platform selling your blockchain related books online in exchange with cryptos. You can think of signing up with some of the leading crypto-currency payment gateways in order to start accepting crypto payments like coingate, etc.

You would also need to create a online store where it would be better if you could also sign a contract with an online escrow to keep you as well as the buyers safe at transactions.

Of course you can write books about cryptocurrency and sell them. I see a lot of books about cryptocurrency being sold online. The thing is that you will have to be promoting the books and letting people know about them… if not it might not even sell. Another thing that is very important is the topic you're writing about. If you're like those people that just copy what is already written online then you' will probably be wasting your time and nobody is going to be buying what they can find easily online and even learn it for free. You should try to write about something that they can't find, something that is very important and you know that people will be interested in reading and knowing about it. So that's all I can say. If you check purse.io you will see some crypto related books up for sell.

Writing to earn money is not easy. Writing books to earn money is even harder. Sometimes I come across a useful book full of learning resources and then I see the top 5 books that earn authors the most money and the difference is so wide. Sometimes you have to tap into the society and their mindset to learn what they would like to read. Sometimes it does not make logical sense.

For me in crypto now, that mindset is all about making money!

writing to earn is easy but writing an article or long essay is the hard one as well as writing contents for a book  because you need to open your imagination and you cannot just read online and rewrite what you read because that so inapropriate thing to do  . you can either get caught for copyrighting or for plagiarising  . crypto and blockchain is now popular and creating a books inspired by them would be a good idea as a business because the market for it are not really that huge .

Best,

It really depends on your target market. Like what kind of crypto books will you sell? will it be for beginners or will it be for advanced users?
For example, if your book is about the basics of blockchain and cryptocurrency, it's not possible to sell them only via BTC, ETH, or other alt coins. It's still best to use a basic payment method like credit/debit cards.
And if let's say, an advanced user would like to purchase a book about blockchain and cryptocurrency, i doubt if they'll even purchase a book for added knowledge when there are a lot of podcasts and research materials available for free just by searching via google. But of course, I might be wrong. Just sharing my own opinion.
No need for it to be separated yet you can make a book which do have that basic- advanced contents but same as others been telling here is that
demand wont really be that high yet anything or informations can already be read up for free online. So theres no need on some sort of text for you to learn
yet a simple internet connection and a pc or smartphone would already be enough.

How to start working with electronic currency, what is needed in order to profitably buy and try cryptocurrency?
Good boards for your to read on if you are a 100% newbie on anything.

Regarding the phyisical vs online books matter. The experience you get from reading a physical book is much more superior than reading from a blank screen and "peeling" your eyes. lol I'd rather pay a few bucks for a hardcover/paperback book than reading an ebook. That's just my personal opinion though.
Its a matter of personal preference though but reading on an ebook is way more convenient in terms of accessibility
yet we know books are more heavy than bringing your own tablet or smartphone with you.

If you write well, people will buy
One of the main thing for people to consider it out but I would say that it will be still tough to get some buyers. Why?
We are already on digital era and everything can be read up and published through online. So as a writer or making
some books it wont really be that easy path for it to sell.
It can be like a cry of the soul or just an ordinary hobby, but not a way to earn money, especially since the cryptocurrency industry is constantly changing.

The only problem is that there are lots of websites online that would give those things that are written on your books for free on their website, which means that would prefer to search for whatever they need online than buying books for it there are even free ebooks online about cryptocurrency and you can find just anything you want to know about cryptocurrency from them. So it's really difficult to sell any book now. But you can still try your luck. You can put them up on sale on Amazon (it's not a must that you will sell them for crypto) you can sell them for cash and then convert for Bitcoin.

Like currency is changing from fiat to digital, similarly we have a transformation where people prefer to gain knowledge online through google / video instead of book reading. Writing a book on crypto will not be a successful idea in this modern world.
Google is good place to learn about crypto, so I think those who understand google they can use google but those who are found of reading books they should read books. We have so many other ways like we can use YouTube, but reading book is the most beneficial and good idea to get knowledge about crypto currency.

It will be somehow hard to sell crytpo book in any form of payment system either in cryptocurrencies or fiat. Just a little stretch on Google will give you unlimited books from expert for free. Eventhough, you succeeded with this, on what file system will it be? I guess it will be pdf. A copy is enough to spread over the internet, so it might not worth that time for now but things might change in the near future.

@anyone who says there's no demand for physical copies (doesn't matter which type of book)

Choosing between ebook and paperback is a subjective thing. You can't just say there is no demand when brick and mortar bookstores are doing good and most books having a paperback version.

Not to mention that physical books are something you collect now bc having them physically is totally different. There are some that are "rare" (limited edition, first print, etc..) but for the most part, the reader gives value to a certain book, it depends on how much they like them. and there's a handful of users here who likes to collect.

Quote from: Oilacris
Its really not contradicting but books isn't really that relevant due that most informations needed to be learn can
be attained online without needing these compilation thru books.

depends on the extent of knowledge you wanna pursue. sure there's no prob in the basics but if you wanna dive into technicalities, books would be better.

There is no demand for the bitcoin and crypto books because no one is willing to read the books. Everyone like to get information through videos and youtube and there are very few people who still prefer books to learn about block chain and crypto. Although i still think the books gives better and more comprehensive information than the videos.

That is the most prost like thing you say buddy.
About 33% of all people in crypto industry is from academia. And a research has been done on the subject. Read it here : https://techcrunch.com/2019/06/27/the-rise-of-the-new-crypto-mafias/

You know academia?? they are people from the universities, meaning people that read. Not like you haha book hater.

I would like for op to clarify this thing if we are pertaining to physical or ebooks on this matter. When it regards to
cryptobooks then I don't see a reason for it to have a demand.I've seen some post above on other user about such book but
this is only ebook but eventually there are people who are interested on it but it wont come to a point on where op is expecting.
I think if OP wanted to sell a physical book I don't think the demand will have because usually people now are being socialized with the gadget and I think e-book is the best idea to sell online for crypto enthusiasts. Well, I don't have much idea on this but good luck to OP for his wanted business I think it is more interesting if that crypto book related also in crypto trading which some people also wanted to learn to in trading.
Physical books wont really have a market or wont really sell out well,as other users do tell above that it
doesnt really have demand plus all things can be found on the web so theres no need for you to seek up
for sa physical books.

There are certain books that are not available here in Romania. If you had them, I'd pay you in whatever crypto you want.
But that is just me. If someone else has similar interest from some other country, would be dependent on that person.

I am not sure then how the people can buy the crypto books for the payment buddy? I am not sure it will create the big impact on this industry first of all. Always people wish to learn with free of cost.

The books that you are planning to be selling for crypto, are they physical books or eBooks? And are you the one that’s writing these books or you’re getting them from somewhere else and then selling to those that needs it? I don’t think there is a demand for it, but one thing for sure is that it all depends on what you have in the book. If you are the type that writes what anyone can get for free online then no one will be willing to buy the book. You need to discover what people are looking for the most and then if you have the solution to that, you can write a book about it and I believe people would buy it.

Who needs book about crypto-currencies? It`s open 24/7, join and learn about it. Book can`t contain amount of information`s you can find online, what you can do online
is to test everything, book can not give you that pleasure.
Interacting with people, developers, actively participate in community will take you closer to knowledge about crypto-currencies than any book.
Better find something else to read, and for learning about crypto-currencies use internet, place where crypto-currencies are invented.

If you want start such service to create a site or make a business setup for crypto books business means you could do that buy own. There are many gateway available in the marketplace.
You may use such API in your site and start that business but since books are very easily available in PDF or other formats in online. I don't think it has demand.

I noticed that (which is quite contradicting) it is hard to buy crypto and Blockchain books with actual crypto. Hence, I want to sell them for crypto.

Now that you've mentioned it, I do not see altcoins creators publish any book detailing their project. I only see whitepaper

Is there a demand for it?

I doubt very much that there is a lot of demand, if it had much demand we would probably see it here in the forum. But you can continue to do research, because it may be the case that people are not doing books because they know they will not have a platform to sell and be paid in cryptos

Maybe you can go to Amazon and look at how the demand is.
There's a demand for it, like this - https://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Bitcoin-Unlocking-Digital-Cryptocurrencies/dp/1449374042
There's only 1 stock left.

Hmm, for sure there is a demand but I don't know how huge though. Maybe you can go to Amazon and look at how the demand is. Maybe you can also look at this thread, [FREE ]CRYPTOCURRENCY EBOOKS SERVICES FOR TRADERS AND CRYPTO ENTHUSIASTS. I'm not sure if the member is active though, but basing on the response on that thread, it seems only a handful is interested (even if it's free).

Too broad, it would depend on the title. I mean, I use cryptocoins but it doesn't mean I would jump in everything that relates to it, consider me intrigued tho.

How are you going to obtain it tho? 👀 and are we talking about ebooks or physical copies?
