Hi!
Satoshi Nonce automatically refunds invalid bets (under min or over max bet amount) when the invalid bet transaction reaches
6 Confirmations (this to avoid double spending).
Please see below the refund of your invalid bet (over max amount):
https://blockchain.info/tx/69296887d7af2ba8417ab2bb55fd81661161f4d3858dddc20686e8ad28011fa6You will notice that the amount of btc refunded is equal to your bet amount less 0.0001 transaction fee.
Btw, we noticed you continued playing after the invalid bet (and before receiving the automatic refund at 6 Confirmations)... That's very nice of you, thanks for trusting Satoshi Nonce
Im getting the hang of your game, I trusted it even after I threw that .15 in! I got the refund after a confirmation (or two)
I hope the maximum rises soon, the game is getting some activity definitely a new concept to gambling, I love it personally.
Is there any more information on how the number is generated fairly via the block heigjt to validate results??? Is there a verifier for this??
Also, is it possible for the same number to be hit twice in a row? I haven't seen it occur at all on the 0-9 game.
Thanks
Thanks Dmugetsu, your comments are really appreciated..
Re Bet results, these are extracted directly from the BlockChain. Here's how it works:
1) you place a Bet
2) your bet is included in a Block (when you get to 1 Confirmation)
3) We take the Nonce number of that Block and use its last digit (in game 0-9) or last 2 digits (in game 00-99) as your bet result
In order to verify the Bet Result you just need to click on your Transaction Id and then click on the Block number that includes your bet transaction. The Block page will open and you can now look at its unique Nonce number last digits to verify your Bet result.. No coding required
Nonce numbers are random and generated by the Bitcoin miner (or pool) that finds the Block... so yes, the same bet result number could (theoretically) appear any given time in a row...
Thanks for liking Satoshi Nonce
