Commonly, I have seen people using bitcoin tx accelerator called:

https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

The downside of using this is that it gets easily full after a few minutes kasi 100 lang yung ina-accept ng pool every hour (e.g., 12:00-12:03) to be precise. This services only offers to accelerate your tx to be included in the next block they are currently mining, so swertehan din talaga.

As per the RBF or Replace-by-fee, only a handful of bitcoin client I think supports this feature and it is Electrum to be specific. I tried it personally though using testnet, the RBF function really works if your transaction is stucked in the bitcoin network due to low tx fee. As per my experience, RBF can only be used if the transaction is still unconfirmed, meaning it is still not added into the next block, only by then RBF can re-broadcast the tx with a higher tx fee (sat/byte) para maisama na siya sa next block.

CFFP, medyo wala pang idea. And I think this is similar to RBF eh.

We can't seem to find the page you're looking for".

^ Alam ko may Bitcoin accelerators, Replace by fee (RBF), at Child pays for parent (CPFP) methods. Paki-paliwanag.

  • Basically gagawa ka lang ng legacy wallet sa Electrum kasi yung legacy wallet nila ay compatible sa pag send at received ng transactions with a bech32 address
Based kasi sa mempool napakataas ng transaction fee ngayon lalo na monday which is busy day for bitcoin users. I'll be sticking with addresses that starts either with 3 or bc1

What I mean about this one is yung sagot ko sa second option na binigay ko which is yung Legacy Wallet to SegWit Wallet mo from Electrum to Electrum.

Opo, gumamit ako ng Electrum as an interface sa Ledger  Cheesy

So ang naisip ko na lang po eh mag transfer ng funds from coins.ph sa existing mycelium account ko then sa Ledger Nano S.

This will also work, sorry if medyo complicated yung nabigay kong work around sayo hindi ako aware na may Mycelium wallet ka.

Matagal na yang announcement na yan, mycelium integrate segwit native or nested address, way back 2018. Compatible din sa ledger at trezor both segwit at legacy.
Try ko muna yung testnet then try ko din kung possible gumawa ng panibagong script type sa Electrum using the same priv keys sa Ledger Nano with a different derivation path.

Or you can just use mycelium wallet, may feature si mycelium na kaya niyang ma change ang wallet address from legacy (1) to nested segwit (3) or to native segwit (bc1) just by taping the qr code see image.

You just need to import yung legacy private key sa mycelium and then you can either use yung segwit (native or nested) at legacy, same account ma rereceive mo btc mo whether you used any of those wallet address.
Yes, I've been using Mycelium wallet before and aware na din po ako sa wallet features niya. The thing is, may existing wallet na ako pero walang laman, I can just easily restore the wallet using seed phrase na naitabi ko and then transfer it from coin.ph ==> Mycelium ==> Ledger Nano S.

If only using electrum and hindi with the hardware wallet, then take DroomieChikito's advice medjo technical nga lang or just import your private keys to mycelium like what I explain on my earlier post.

Gandang gabi!

To achieve a nested segwit address, ginawa ko rin yong payo ng isang user which is to export the private key then import it to the new one.
Steps:
> In your Electrum wallet na mayroong native segwit address, go to Wallet then, Private Keys, then Export.
this will be exported to your local drive at excel file ito.

>Then you have to create another wallet, this time for the native segwit address. Go to File, then New/Restore, then Import Bitcoin addresses or Private Keys

>Then you have to copy your private key in the excel file then paste it to the dialogue box pero kailangan palitan mo yong nasa unahan ng private key ng  p2wpkh-p2sh:

Gandang gabi!

So para sakin meron kang 2 options o work around para ma-send yung BTC mo to a SegWit address.

  • Creating a P2SH SegWit Wallet - Which is really technical if i-coconsider mo yung Electrum wallet sa Windows, ang default kasi ng Electrum SegWit wallets ay bech32 addresses
  • Sending BTC to a legacy wallet that is compatible on sending in SegWit (bech32) address (Electrum [Legacy address] to Electrum [SegWit address]) - Pwede mo ito magawa sa software nila kasi pwede ka naman gumawa ng multiple wallets sa software ng Electrum. Basically gagawa ka lang ng legacy wallet sa Electrum kasi yung legacy wallet nila ay compatible sa pag send at received ng transactions with a bech32 address

Meron din isang option pero hindi ko mai-suggest is yung pag-send ng BTC mo sa isang crypto exchange na kayang mag-send sa mg bech32 addresses, pwede mo gawin ito if gusto mo maka-iwas ng fees pero wag mo itong gawin kung wala ka pang existing crypto exchange na account baka ma-freeze lang Bitcoin mo dahil gagamitin mo lang yung crypto exchange nila as a wallet.

Currently, not. Tried it myself and may error na lumabas "not a valid address".

For reference for other wallets: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bech32_adoption

@Bttzed03 @Theb @GreatArkansas, thanks to you guys, I have now my first Electrum btc wallet.

But the confidence is slowly coming back now, thanks to your help.

I'm assuming questions 1 & 2 are related.

^ With both wallets, you can send to many using only one address. Meron silang "pay to many" feature.

AFAIK, wala pang mobile wallet ang kayang gumawa nito.

Alam ko mas may karanasan sila @mk4 o @bL4nkcode pagdating sa electrum or bitcoin core. Hoping they can add more.

Ito yung sagot para kay bisdak40

Tama ka dito @Bittzed03 kahit yung mobile wallet app ng Electrum walang capacity to send to multiple addresses in one transaction hindi ka nga din pwede mag-sign ng message, lahat ng ito pwede gawin sa desktop version ng Electrum. Mukhang ang tanging purpose lang talaga ng Electrum Mobile app is gawing wallet sya for on the go payments at hindi meant for storing.

There was a security breach before noong nasa beta stage pa lang yung 2.0 version. Mukhang naayos naman na nila yan at nag-launch pa sila ng bug bounty program before to find and fix other vulnerabilities. Another important thing to note is it's a closed source wallet.

Yung iba makikita niyo dito - Informative threads in our local section

Topic: [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread (until there is a dedicated subforum?)

What is Bitcoin?" o "Introduction to Bitcoin".
