Hmmm...i can't send coins from my wallet to Bleutrade or any other address! Wallet is up to date, v1.3.0.0.
What is going on?
Yesterday I sent a ticket to the exchange and now the wallet is on the Bleautrade in maintenance mode

I moved my coins from 1 wallet to another to get rid of the unconfirmed's.  Now my stake time has gone from a few hours to 8 yrs.   
It appears number of transactions is part of the staking equation.
 How many transactions are needed to get a fast stake (hours instead of years)? 
 
What is the equation for rate of stake?  2 of the variables are age of coin and number of transactions.

We have been unable to sync to that chain

I have been in sync since before the weekend.  I did re-download the blockchain though.

My wallet is in sync with the explorer. I re-downloaded the block chain and now it matches up with the block explorer. I'll keep my wallet open 24/7 for the next 9~11 days to help with the network.

For those of you having problems seeing your balances after the upgrade just follow Oldminer's instructions:

Quote

1) Create a shortcut for bluecoin-qt on your desktop.
2) Right-click the shortcut and select properties.
3) In the field labeled Target type -rescan on the end.

The target field will end up looking like
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bluecoin\bluecoin-qt.exe" -rescan

Launch the wallet using this shortcut but make sure to remove the -rescan command after the repair is complete.

Alternatively you could add rescan=1 to your bluecoin.conf file

This does not inspire confidence when some users (myself included) are having problems with lost coin in the new wallet.

I've re-downloaded entire block chain and did re-scan 3 times now and the coin is still not confirmed.  

In my case, the missing coin is not due to a wrong fork.
Having had some confirmed in the midst of the unconfirmed disproves wrong fork theory.  The coin was there prior to upgrade.

What else can be tried to recover the coin?

This is a fork.

Ok. I stand corrected. I was on a fork then.    Embarrassed
Then the pool was forked then too.  Sad
It did not seem like a fork as those 8 transactions were in the midst of the forked ones. 
Apparently you can get confirmed transactions when on a fork.    Huh   The programmer in me was saying that did not compute.
