They walk among us...
My guess (and no surprises) is that Coinmine.pw is on the wrong fork as difficulty is 2 and everywhere else its 20 plus. Theres gonna be some pretty upset people over there when they find out as coins have been stuck for days.

Anyone up for holding a seance with some dead relatives to try and reach the guy behind coinmine.pw and giving him a kick up the backside? Angry

I think Coinminepw stinks! I have blu stuck in there and the guy hasn't been online for weeks, he doesn't answer email, twitter, Facebook or IRC. Can anyone recommend a RELIABLE blu pool please?

Is the coinmine pool http://www.coinmine.pw on the correct fork? How can I tell?

I made a 1372 BLU withdraw from the  http://www.coinmine.pw pool about 7
hours ago. I still haven't received it ? Do you think It's because they're on
the wrong fork?

I still have 3600 BLU left on coinmine. Any idea how I can get them?

I'm also still bummed out because I lost a few thousand BLU from
the http://bluecoin.stonedpuppy.com pool Sad

That's $1.14.  Not sure I would waste even 5 seconds of my time worrying about a dollar let alone wasting what could be hours.

I'd rather use that time to make some money trading coins and buying 10 times as much Blue.

Cheers!

I just spoke with Stoned Puppy.

Your BLU will be covered in full.

Instead of the network halting (like many coins do), it elegantly switched over to pure PoS while the difficult block was mined.

That is nice, would like to see an even longer POW schedule if that is the case.  If diff is too high the POS can run the chain and micro periods of deflation kick in.
BlueCoin is a PoW hybrid coin forever.

We are breaking some records once again with our hash rate!

Today we peaked out at over 20 G/H!

This coincidentally drove the difficulty sky high (over 180).

Instead of the network halting (like many coins do), it elegantly switched over to pure PoS while the difficult block was mined.

We will see the network self-adjust as appropriate, whenever network conditions become too strenuous either on the PoS or PoW side.

Happy mining!

@DEV
what are your next plans for BlueCoin?
We have been working to upgrade Blue and get it to this stage for months, however we're always looking for ways to innovate and improve our existing code-base.

We're tentatively looking at the work the BlackCoin community is doing with PoS 2.0 http://www.blackcoin.co/blackcoin-pos-protocol-v2-whitepaper.pdf.

As more improvements come to light (I.E Cold Minting), we will be integrating these solutions within due time.

Our next goal is to work on getting more users involved and using the currency.

They were on the wrong fork! Anything mined after 117499 was no good.

Something is still wrong. I had coins there from before block 117499 and I was mining for a few hours after they updated to the new fork. Still no balances. I tried to contact them from their contact page and even that wont work! Something is definitely amiss!

Everyone update your wallets, simply copy / paste / extract over your existing bluecoin folder.
I always backup wallet before doing so.

1. download
2. extract
3. launch
4. unlock wallet (make sure stake mode is checked)
5. allow your wallet to stake, helping you earn coins, and help the network

This process takes no more than 120 seconds of your time, everyone who uses blue needs to do this step.

Pools, faucets, exchanges, and any nodes hosted should simply update to the latest mandatory update: https://github.com/bluecoiner/bluecoin
