I had a neat idea for a different kind of cryptocoin fountain and decided to use Bluecoin as my first coin.  Take a look and see what you think.  I'd appreciate feedback.

Bluecoin devs i sure could use that bounty to fund the faucet :-)  I'll send a PM.

Ron,

I look forward to trying out the bluedrops, looks pretty sick... man. I'll add to my signature and submit the rest later in a few.

Thank you! I hope BlueCoiner is fascinated by my work, and decides to allow me to support this giveaway here. If not, i can certainly shut down the giveaway his command. Donation address to the airdrops are listed in my post, so that people can fund the campaign.

BUMP

whats the reason for the change?
We're getting too many blocks of one kind in a row. This is happening because of difficulty spikes in the network.

DGW should smooth things out considerably, and get us closer to our desired 50/50 hybrid scheme.

I support this update BlueCoiner,
I look at other developers and no other developers step up to the plate as much as you've done here.
Great job on your consistent efforts to deliver a strong foundation to the community.

I've been a darkcoin follower since early in the days. I think there is something valuable they did with Dark Gravity Wave, just not a tremendous attention involving it. I think bringing this into a hybrid X11/POS coin is a great idea.  I look forward to getting the wallet in 24 hours.

BLUECOIN VERSION 1.2 DGW - HARDFORK @ BLOCK 113,000

NEW WALLETS COMING IN 24 HOURS!

https://github.com/bluecoiner/bluecoin
http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/Dark_Gravity_Wave

Changes:

1. DGW added to PoW and PoS @ block 113000
2. Coin Control "on" by default.

More about Dark Gravity Wave:

In concept, DGW is similar to Kimoto Gravity Well, adjusting the difficulty levels every block (instead of every hundreds of thousands of blocks like Bitcoin) by using statistical data of the last blocks found. In this way block issuing times can remain consistent, despite high fluctuations in hashpower. However it doesn't suffer from the time-warp exploit.

Version 2.0 of DGW was implemented in Darkcoin from block 45.000 onwards in order to completely alleviate the time-warp exploit.

Version 3.0 was implemented on May 14 of 2014 to further improve difficulty re-targeting with smoother transitions. It also fixes issues with various architectures that had different levels of floating-point accuracy through the use of integers.

This is going to be truly epic!!

I've said this before, its continued development that is setting Bluecoin apart hundreds of these coins on the market.
