when I try to search an address on https://www.blockexperts.com/blu# it just goes to a blank screen. I've tried on 2 different computers (windows and Linux). Is it just me or is the search function not working for others?

I tried it just now, and it works.

Can anyone who has been around much longer than me help to explain the history of this project? it looks like it went dead for 3 years and was recently revived maybe? In the few revival posts that are out there, there doesn't seem to be any attempt to explain why the project went dead or why it's coming back.

I don't want to write it off without learning more, but there seems to be next to no community, the website is full of typos and more importantly doesn't explain why BlueCoin is unique.

My more skeptical side says it's being revived simply because there is a chance for the developers (and former BlueCoin believers) to make some Bitcoin since the entire crypto space is booming. Maybe the code was sitting there and they figured it was worth a shot? Or maybe BlueCoin brings something new to the crypto space and has a reason to exist, unlike so many other coins/tokens out there today?

More info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There are thousands of alt-coins ? what distinguishes yours from the others ? well our coin is blue

It lasts 3 1/2 years already, with its original developer. I think it is more than enough to distinguishe it. Another more plus is that it has its ups and downs, so you buy when it is down, and you sell when it is up, then you do it all over again.  And you gain something what is called ROI, return on investment, and you still have your coins. In last few years, only dash gave me better ROI, then bluecoin.

Thanks for the help, it's working now, are they any markets for Blu at this time? Any buyers

Currently, it is trading on Yobit and Livecoin. But deposits are off in both exchanges. I guess livecoin will be back in few days, when they implement last update, but for Yobit no one knows.

On the first page of this thread. But the bounties are already given. Try to contact Bluecoiner, if he has plans to give more.

Hello, I can't get my wallet to Sync, never did. late 10 weeks with 0 connections, firewall off... I have over 200k coins would reallt like to retreive them, any help would be appreciated.

It would be better if someone with more technical knowledge explained, because I am very thin on that, but as far as I understand, sometimes there is not enough hash power to generate blocks. Today I tried and it was my wallet was not updating also. I checked on explorer https://www.blockexperts.com/blu# and there was no block for 33 hours. Now I saw blocks coming every few minutes, started my wallet and it updated very fast. Regarding 0 connections, click on peers on block explorer and you can add nodes from the list.

3% Annual Rewards
That's even lower than the usual interest rate, pair with inflating... hell why should anyone invest in this coin.

Also, can you advice which rpc port now is actual for blucoin?
