Nobody comes close to Vergil; he is just so dominating. Bohachuk could be the right guy who's up to the challenge to beat Ortiz.
It is time for Ortiz to step up the fight and challenge the best fighter in whatever division he is in; he is already a polished fighter, but injury and fighting low-level fighters have kept him from achieving a lot.

I guess this is because Oscar protected his record; Golden Boy's way of promoting his boxers is not suitable for many boxers. They fight boxers that they can easily beat, taking a lot of time for them to shine.

I have mark this fight I'm sure its going to be a slugfest but Ortiz will eventually take this fight and will fight Crawford for the title.

It's about time to see what Ortiz is made of, I mean he is under GBP and has been protected as well and supposedly his fight will be against Tim Tszyu. So this will be Ortiz first real tests against Bohachuk who is no push over. Bohachuk defeated Brian Mendoza, the man that knockout the current champion Sebastian Fundora. So that really speaks well on how tough and good Bohachuk is, although some of the boxing fans might not have heard his name.

So this is a make or break fight for Vergil Ortiz, a lot of risk in his part, but he should be taking this kind of fight to really see how good and if he really belongs to the top of 154 lbs. And I think the winner here will fight the winner of Crawford vs Madrimov.
Right, Oscar has been protecting Ortiz for a long time, but if I'm not mistaken, he got injured as well that's why his career has somewhat stalled. But still, the level of the opposition that he faced plus the hype on his name as the next big thing at 147 lbs, has taken it's toll and so he has to move to 154 lbs already and now they are willing to let go of him and see he is made of against Bohachuk. To be honest, I haven't heard his name but his record speaks for himself, that knockout accuracy and I do agree with that OP that someone will have to go down in this fight as both are knockout artist. And so it's really difficult to predict as who will win here.

This is the battle between two of the hardest punchers in the Super Welterweight division, one with a 100% knockout percentage and the other with an almost perfect knock-out ratio.

Quote
Bohachuk emerged as a potential opponent for Ortiz after former WBO world junior middleweight titleholder Tim Tszyu withdrew from the Ortiz fight, which would have taken place on August 3 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. Doctors have not medically cleared Tszyu, as a cut along his hairline suffered against Sebastian Fundora on March 30 has not properly healed.

Bohachuk is a perfect replacement for Tszyu as Bohachuk like Ortiz Jr. is considered a worthy champion. This is going to be a battle of two knock-out artists, so expect a lot of action.
