Nice one OP, for having the boldness to buy your first bitcoin. There are some people who are still procrastinating on buying bitcoin since February that the price was around 18+ but didn't use the opportunity to buy. Presently that the price is 29k you must have made little profit. I will advice that if you can keep on buying with DCA method quartly, before you know it your bitcoin investment will be growing gradually. Don't forget to hodli for a long term and keep your bitcoin safe in a noncustodial wallet where only you have the keys to.

Hello guys my curiosity has really gotten the best of me. I was so eager to get involved in the trending Bitcoin currency that is everywhere in my locality. Bitcoin is acceptable in so many small scale business around me in my locality, I mean I had to just ask what was this all about and finally I was introduced here and since my coming I have Learnt alot and still in the process of learning. But I came to understand few things here which gave me the courage to wanting to purchase Bitcoin and keep it so I can see some tangible profit when the price go up . Although the purchase is small but you won't blame me as it's a first timer situation and in addition to the fact that the funds are not available enough for me but I just want to let everyone know am also a Bitcoin holder now and willing to purchase more as bitcoin is also a financial gateway to freedom of saving fund. But I really had to take my Time to understand the whole volatility of Bitcoin before taking this bold step.

So everyone should join me and celebrate this purchase as it went through without any stress and please help me show my image for other viewers as my rank prohibits me to

It is really great as you invest your hard earned money in Bitcoin. You should carry your investment further so that you get enough profit from Bitcoin in the future. As there are enough bitcoiners in your area, you can take advice from those qualified traders which will increase your skills. As you keep observing the bitcoin market well, you will gain experience and you will have enough knowledge about bitcoin. Since you have learned so much about Bitcoin at this point, your practice will only help you move forward.  Be sure to hold the amount of bitcoins you buy for a long time and save more money and invest in bitcoins by understanding the market position.  Bitcoins must be stored in a hardware or software wallet to keep your money safe. Although this is a small investment of yours, I think you will be able to make big investments from this small investment, so you keep investing with patience, it will definitely give you success.

Good thing you are a holder of Bitcoin doesn't matter what's the amount. Because everyone isn't the same here and there are a lot of things working behind any investment. And the good thing is you are interested to research deeply before investing more. Most people don't do that and ended up with a loss. Everyone should how Bitcoin's volatility works before jumping into that. Otherwise, later they have to cry. Spend more time on the forum for learning.

op's decision is certainly very good because op dared to learn about btc and I think the action that op took was a good thing. yes, and luckily op is the holder, and in my opinion also the amount doesn't matter the most important success in investing that must be prioritized. and indeed the op is very good at investing in btc for doing research first.
because without research we usually have the potential to fail and I have also experienced failure in investing, so exploring knowledge endlessly is what must be done.

Not that huge, but still a good first step towards your Bitcoin investing journey.

Now the next step that you need to do is to repeat the process. 27k Satoshis will not make you rich even if Bitcoin goes to a million. Dollar-cost averaging is the most efficient way of investing for me and maybe for some here. Yes it is a long-term strategy, but it's proven to be working. Just look at some articles online, and you can see some charts telling that if you invest an X amount of money in X amount of time, your money will grow, and I believe it will be the same with Bitcoin as proven on it's price movement throughout the years.

I just hope that you will store your Bitcoin in the safest wallet you can possible have. A hardware wallet would be the best one, but a cold wallet is still a good option.

I welcome you to this exciting bitcoin world. I just hope that you are never one of those who only see bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme because if you do that, you will never last longer in the market. And while you are still eager to invest more, then always do DCA when there are good buying opportunities so you can maximize your purchase even with a small amount of fiat. And always be patient.
I recently learned about DCA and I like this strategy. The advantage is that you do not have to try to catch the best price, which can greatly simplify the entire investment process.

The economic situation in various parts of the world have made keeping and saving money in fiat very unreasonable, fiat is highly deflating and losing its value against commodities and the United state dollar.
Though bitcoin is not without risk on its own, it's immunity against inflation have made it a better choice for users and investors looking for a genuine place to put their money..

So congratulations for taking such a bold step, bitcoin has changed lives, and will still changes lives again, for those that would embrace it by investing future money on bitcoin.

Maybe they are looking for merit, I find that the same themes are often repeated. I don't mean to offend anyone, but lately, there have been a lot of posts about accepting bitcoin for businesses. It's a good way to spread the popularity of bitcoin, but I'm also a bit skeptical, maybe I was too suspicious.

Or maybe it's excitement when they own bitcoin for the first time, and since we are on the bitcoin forum, it is normal that they feel that way. Whatever their true intentions, I congratulate them for their beginning, I hope they can find success investing in bitcoin.

I don't really think is the best to do by posting their purchase of bitcoin, for me i would love everyone posting such thing to channel their efforts on hosting seminars introducing bitcoin to people by spreading the max adoption of bitcoin would go a very long way than just buying $5 to $10 fractions of bitcoin and they ran down here to post. I don't see any sense in it, rather spamming.

There are some threads that are just written without any proof, like photos, which is really skeptical and just posted for sake of merit, and there are also others that have photos on them, though whatever their reason, I hope they can benefit from it. Also, I've seen threads about teaching students or children about bitcoin; some are fishy, while others are also nice and a great idea. If their intentions are true and it is not for merit that they join campaigns, then it is really helpful to others as they really want to spread awareness about bitcoin, but if it is not , then they won't last long here in the forum as for sure they got busted by the veterans here.

Maybe i think the mods and admins has to look into this, please they shouldn't quote me wrongly but something needs to be done, we can welcome and accepts a seminar presentation or even hosting a meeting with villagers, communities and companies, this sounds very good and promotional, creating a paths for bitcoin within the localities and their grassroot.

But I really had to take my Time to understand the whole volatility of Bitcoin before taking this bold step.

Whoever introduced you to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency did very well to have told you about the volatile nature of cryptocurrency.
Have you read the white paper yet? If no please and I will personally advice that you take more of your time to study and know more about the journey you're already embarking on because it's an amazing one where nothing is guaranteed.
Congratulations on your first purchase of Bitcoin but it seems you're focused more on making profit and hope you also know that due to the high volatility of Bitcoin, there is an equal percentage in terms of profits or losses but whatever the case might be, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and stay clear shit coins.
Good luck mate.

Congratulation on your first purchase of Bitcoin, and welcome to the Bitcoin community.  It might be a small amount but who knows, after a decade that amount might grow 100-fold once adoption mass adoption took place.  It is somehow unadvisable to transfer your fund if it is sitting in an exchange because it will be just eaten by the transaction fee.  Better accumulate a good amount first before withdrawing it to your wallet.

If you have an extra fund, you can always accumulate Bitcoin in a small chunk, that is at least a proven strategy for people who has no huge amount of money but wanted to invest.
Good job OP, you are now an official bitcoin hodler. But make sure you transfer your btc to your personal wallet once the amount is getting bigger so you can have the full control on it and you’ll be responsible on its own security. For now, continue to accumulate more bitcoin through DCA, and just buy only using your spare money everytime you see an opportunity to buy. That way, hodling bitcoin for long term is never an issue as you are only using your extra money, and not those that are intended to pay the bills.

We just have to think positively that their intention is right to share the steps for spreading bitcoin, even though here they already know a lot about bitcoin, but usually beginners will be happy for him to buy bitcoin for the first time with their own money, or save bitcoin instead of fiat, whatever the title of the thread. they just want to share the joy even though some are skeptical some people with multiple threads like this.

What needs to be done for them is to give some advice because usually beginners don't know about security and other things that are still unknown, so I don't think it's a problem if they, for example, are only looking for sympathy from merit or other things, let people Others can rate it.

the important thing is that their goal is that investing in bitcoin is a very good awareness.

Sometimes we shouldn't be too suspicious, forums are created, and we are all here to share our experience and knowledge about investing in bitcoin, so all are welcome. I also think they just wanted to share the joy with other investors because they also found bitcoin, which helped them get out of fiat, and found investment solutions for people with small capital. It can be said that bitcoin is the fairest investment, unlike gold or real estate because it requires a lot of capital, but with bitcoin, we can accumulate little by little.

Nice on your move to accumulate bitcoin now that we presume that it's on the low level range.
But I really don't like trading bitcoin if I don't have upto $1k capital and above, I'm this type of person that will want to appreciate any  profit I got on any trade and in order for that to happen I don't go trading bitcoin with little capital, instead of that use ur $100 - $1000 and look for low gem coins and buy. You can split your capital into 3 projects and buy once it moves up, you will definitely appreciate your profit, rather than buying bitcoin with $500 and in one year you haven't made $100 profit.

Then there's something I have noticed recently, why is it that people mostly post their new purchase of bitcoin it's mostly common to newbies who just venture into the forum. Is there any reason why they does that or could it be is the best way to share around this forum they now own fractions of bitcoin?

I think is better to stop this childish play because for me is really causing a lot of spam.

Although the purchase is small but you won't blame me as it's a first timer situation and in addition to the fact that the funds are not available enough for me

OP, no one is blaming you or going to blame you for buying a few SATs. You do not need to be ashamed of the Bitcoin you purchased, no matter how little it is,  and IMO, you must not listen to or see the advice of anyone on the amount you should invest in Bitcoin. Invest what you can afford to lose and hold your SATs in a safe wallet. Keep accumulating if you have money that you think is for nothing else but your Bitcoin investment. You said the fund is not very available for you, and I hope you also don't intend to borrow to invest in bitcoin?
Yes, it's true that no one blames us here when investing in bitcoin either in large amounts or in small amounts because we can buy any fraction of bitcoins for us to hold in the long term, but if you want to get big profits then it's better if you continue to do DCA when you have have funds to invest in bitcoin, the greater the amount of bitcoin that we hold, the greater the profit we will get when bitcoin later increases to a higher level.

congrats on your first bitcoin purchase,,
and you join the right forum to discuss bitcoin and so on.

what you are doing is a good thing, and don't forget that you also learn about bitcoin not only in this forum, look for information about bitcoin from various directions.

In my opinion, buying bitcoin is not in terms of size, but the most important thing is management.

I just hope that after buying bitcoins for the first time, he can go on to buy even more bitcoins. He can use the DCA strategy by regularly buying every month and not just buying for the first time and done.

Investing in bitcoin is difficult because you don't just buy it for the first time but can continue it until you feel enough or have reached the target you want and just wait for the price to start moving up higher. Most people think they only need to buy the first time and then won't buy again, even if the price drops drastically. Let's just hope he can go on to buy a second time and so on. But congratulations on your buying bitcoin.
It's all down to the learning and the preparedness of the guy, Bitcoin journey is very easy, fun and loving, but that is only when quality time is set aside to know the rudiment of it. No one would tell him to invest more if the knowledge is there and all that he does with it are progressing. I believe it will be all revealed to him in the areas of learning and all strategies, and every means of investment regarding it will be easily revealed.

First welcome of becoming a holder then the next is how to exercise patient to hold for long maybe who knows your investment strategies. I believe too well you knows about the security aspect and how to use the best wallet looking closely that interface looks like Binance exchange, lemme draw your attention that with the lastest happening no exchange is secure to store funds inside without withdrawing it to external wallet.

Then there's something I have noticed recently, why is it that people mostly post their new purchase of bitcoin it's mostly common to newbies who just venture into the forum.
