New update of the Bolivarcoin Wallet Some of the most important changes:
- Client updated to version 1.0.0.2.
- Name of the customer changed to BolivarCore.
- Added new checkpoints. (To avoid potential Hash attacks)
- Fixed the closing of the wallet that could cause corruption of the chain or that remained active in the background.
- New binary with a newer version of OpenSSL that fixes the Heartbleed vulnerability.
- Removed the IRC Seed support. (No longer depends on a 3rd for the interconnection of the wallets)
- Multi-signature addresses can now be generated.

I presume this is being introduced to contrast positively to the PTR introduction which is pre mined, sold by ICO and has no maximum limit to coins ? I hope people in Venezuela will be able to access this blockchain and benefit from that. I'm not really thinking Madro is now willing to risk the idea of a free market, so he is not exactly committed to crypto in a traditional way. More the Ripple kind of way where value is dictated and controlled by one central body.
This would also have the advantage of not international sanctions and repercussions levelled against it for using such a coin.
