Many versions ago there was a dashboard on the left, but it took a lot of space (that i prefer to use for other graphical parts).
So i put the dashboard on the Toolbar (as you can see in the Exchange Frame).

Had the same issue on lubuntu (odroid u2) but not on raspbian (raspberry pi model B). Never found out what caused it, took the easy way out an switched to the pi

I have this funny issue with Java 8 on ARM linux lubuntu:
It happens after some time, randomly between few hours and few days, then I have to restart the app because i cant see anything
But it does refresh after some time

Probably i misunderstood what you needed. 
If you change your API Key i can give you a new C.A.T. copy with the new Api, but you must pay the API Price. For Example 0.1 BTC for the Bitstamp API.

I will change my API key periodically. This is an expensive thing.
I lose all my coins and can't buy a new license.
My interest on trading was also lost.
Sorry but you don't have any reason to change your Api key periodically.
I use many tools for statistics, mobile trading etc.
Bots are 24h per day online. What when my bot hacked?
I don't trust the tools.
If someone hack/stole your bot, he won't be able to get anything from the code. The only file you must look for is the KEY.XML File.
And, if someone stole your public/private api key, he won't be able to do nothing because many exchanges does not allow withdraw with aPI calls.
And i always tell users to configure API WITHOUT withdraw options during API Creation for C.A.T. bot.
Api key are not something interesting for Hacker :-) Trust me
