you need to create a ping order, try this part of the manual:
Ping Pong Generator
Press the Check Current Status Button if you want to get :
- Your Primary/Secondary Currency Balances
- The % difference between the Lowest Sell Price & the Highest Buy Price
- A suggestion about the price to start a Sell/Buy Orders (according to the algo parameter you have set).
Create/Add User Ping Orders.
- Choose Type+Price+Quantity and press ADD PING ORDER (repeat for each order you want to create)
- Press the CREATE ORDERS button and C.A.T will create new orders.
Ping Pong Generator
Press the Check Current Status Button if you want to get :
- Your Primary/Secondary Currency Balances
- The % difference between the Lowest Sell Price & the Highest Buy Price
- A suggestion about the price to start a Sell/Buy Orders (according to the algo parameter you have set).

That's what I thought... what was confusing me was... for example say I am using the ltc/btc market.
I get status then i enter buy x ltc @ $xxx followed by sell x ltc @ $xxxx it responds with I don't have xxx ltc to sell
so do i place a buy order and then it will start buying and selling after that point
I have my account funded with btc
You just have to set a buy (or sell) ltc for xxx and C.A.T will do the rest

I think you are trying to start with a Ping Buy AND a Ping Sell, but you are starting with only BTC, no LTC to sell !!
Try it again just entering a Buy order.
BTC/LTC and DOGE/BTC are probably not great markets to start playing with.
BTC/LTC on Cryptsy has consistently low spreads of <0.8%, so you will either need to keep your Min % Gain lower than this, or stop this check by enabling Always Try to Create Orders from Buy/Sell Pool (as this checks the market spread is greater than your Min % Gain setting before allowing a buy).
C.A.T. does not work well with 1 satoshi spread markets such as DOGE and RDD. Check my previous posts.
Don't forget that Ping Buy>Pong Sell works best in a rising market, and Ping Sell>Pong Buy works best in a falling market!

Okay I'm an idiot..
I have the cryptsy module.. the only thing I changed was min % to .8% and hit execute on start process... I have the ltc/btc, doge, drk, nxt, and xrp and aur and cloak markets going..
they are all in zombie status.. any advice as to what I'm doing wrong?

My bot is still for sale. Reason being Ive liquidated most of my alt investments and taking a break from crypto trading and would rather sell my bot for now (just letting everybody know that I have no problems with the C.A.T. bot, in fact prob one of the better ones in the market).

I'm sorry but i can't count this way.
Ping-Pong complete counter must be consistent with the PING-PONG completed tables number of lines and the ping-pong completed Graph.
1 Ping-Pong completed is
Ping -> Trade -> Pong -> Trade
Even if the Pong have a quantity remaining.
Take care of this facts when setting the Max Ping-Pong parameter

would it be possible to split the "Skip Orders With Total <" into Buy and Sell ?
Example:
Skip Buy Orders With Total <
Skip Sell Orders With Total <
as I like to keep my sell orders closer to the top
this greatly reduces my ping/pong time.

Sampey...The Never Buy Over/Sell Under your Last Buy/Sell Price options....
Just testing this, and I think you should exclude this check on USER Ping orders. I think this should only work for automated PING orders, not newly placed ones.
I'd like to leave these options on, but they are blocking me from placing new orders.

Just to say Sampey that the new features are working very well !
Adequate order function working well to tidy up too small orders.
Running Options are MUCH better and making C.A.T. way more responsive to staying on top of market. I'm running at 30sec/1/2.
I'm running XPY/BTC on Cryptsy and Bittrex. Its interesting to see the different buy/sell spreads on the two markets. Cryptsy is often around the 0.9% mark, Bittrex is more around 2%.
This does mean I have to run Cryptsy at 0.9% Min Gain just to get the Ping orders in at the top with a chance of executing. To me, this is a bit low for my expected Pong % Gain...when (in a very active market) it takes such a long time just to get orders completed, I would like to see more worthy gains of 1.5%+ per ping pong.
This is a good example of where a split Min % Ping Spread & Min % Pong Gain would be beneficial.

I Mean : the last sell price is the Ping Proce, the Pong Price, or the last sell price "In general"?
yea, cat has to remember the last sell price as reference, and has to use that Price temporaly as "never buy over"
i think it should be possible to manage, ( i seen this Option already at a other bot)
to enhance this: it would be nicer to : never buy +/- xxx Satoshi above/below last sell (pong) Price!
(and thats would be better as in strugeling other bots)
i also suggested this enhancement.
