I was hoping someone could help me set C.A.T. up to react to this.

Someone placed a sell wall right above me for lower than market average (example previous sell price is 0.018 and they place the order for 0.016.) C.A.T. compensates for this by changing the order and selling at a loss, then attempting to buy in lower. (example, top buy price is 0.0175 and my buy price is 0.0165) it seems that C.A.T. has done this to make up for the loss in the previous trade. It also seems that the seller has done this to try and buy some cheaper coin for a moment, because he removes the order within minutes.

Then the market corrects and now C.A.T. is so far behind that it may never fill the buy order.

how about adding fixed and/or dynamic % rate to:

- Never Buy Over Your Last Sell Price
- Never Sell Under Your Last Buy Price

for example:

Never Buy Over Your Last Sell Price "+2%"

"+2%" - next adjustable field?'

or:
Never Buy Over Your Last Sell Price + 1/3 1/2 1/4 1/10 of % of market deviation based on last market explorer query?
and perform this query once in an hour?

I'm sorry but i can't count this way.

Ping-Pong complete counter must be consistent with the PING-PONG completed tables number of lines and the ping-pong completed Graph.

1 Ping-Pong completed is

Ping -> Trade -> Pong -> Trade

Even if the Pong have a quantity remaining.

Take care of this facts when setting the Max Ping-Pong parameter  Wink

i buy 100 shitcoins, then sell this 100 at ones = 1 Pingpong Count.

You mean that you have a buy 100@X PING and then 100 trade with 100 Pong of sell 1@Y?Huh

In that case, yes there are 100 completed ping pong.......

yes.

the Pingpong should only Count after the pong is empty!

The +1 on Count Ping Pong means :

Ping Order (Quantity X Price) -> TRADE (Quantity X Price, maybe quantity lower than Ping) -> Pong Order -> Trade -> +1

It's the same number you can read on the Graph of the ping-pong completed.

in that way, the function is not realy usefull.

fe.

if the 100 get selled 1 after 1, what often happends...(becouse some shitty bots buying incremental) thats 100 PingPong Counts!  Roll Eyes

Actually you must close and reopen the market.
A reset function could be a good idea.

yes!  Grin

and the Counter should add only "full" Pingpongs.

if i buy 100 shitcoin with one order and it get  selled 1 after1, thats 100 Pingpongs!?  Undecided

I'm looking for a bot that can buy x amount every y minutes (willy style?) in one market on cryptsy. Can C.A.T. do that for me?

This is an easy function to add.
C.A.T. is at version 2.6, i think this function will be added before 3.0 release.

Of course the function can't be "buy X amount every y minutes", but there must be at least the "sell X amount every Y Minutes".

There are a LOT of CAT Customers and every function must be a function useful for everybody  Wink

...and a 4th Pingpong Mode was Born Cheesy

Standard, static, doge style and now timed trading!

the cat Evolution is going on!  Grin

You can load orders from the Market Explorer, then right click on the orders you want to restore, choose PING/PONG and the restore.

What is the easiest way to restart C.A.T. when my PC crashes? I loaded the save file, but restarting them all leads to the zombie state. The only thing I've found to work is to cancel all orders manually and restart them... but that is quite a pain.

Thanks

Hi C.A.T. users!

I want to give you a Merry Christmas!

 Grin Grin Grin Grin

Happy Christmas Sampey  Smiley

Just some UI comments....

  • I agree with some other comments....the log colour scheme could be a lot easier to view...its a bit harsh on the eyes  Roll Eyes
  • Could you make the log always scroll to bottom after updates?
  • Could you make Gain sheets remember their column widths? I have to reset these all the time (autofit?)

thanks !

Oh...and do you think its time for a set default settings button ?

Especially with all the new added options (and hidden away on Advanced panel etc...) its difficult to remember to set them all to how you want them each time.

No graphic glitches for me, but the log now with colour is slow to scroll (mouse scroll wheel). Adding 'always scroll log to bottom' would remove a lot of need for this anyway.

Any recommendations on dealing with market dips if my bot is already holding? My bot hasn't completed a ping pong in about a day.

As i said by Pm : these kind of graphic glitch are not managed by how the code is written.
Java Virtual Machine + Operative System could have some problems (Windows 8.1 could be the problem).
I have no way to manage the Graphic Interface it's all managed by the Java Installation on your operative system.

95% of C.A.T. users are Mac/Windows7/Linux and they don't have graphic glitch problem.
I suggest to move on Windows 7 (maybe a virtual machine).

But i can't do nothing about the graphic glitch you send me by PM, i'm sorry  Undecided

it hapopens not always it hapopens when im forced to restart CAT because one iof the freeze or stuck markets happens

maybe program parts not purged total and disturb it?

i had same issue when u didnt allow 2 same markets in one CAT and i had two CAT open

for me no grafx  glitches since i updated grafx Driver (hd5870). pew pew pew!
cat is running reliable and stable.

I'm looking for it.
this kind of graphic glitch seems related to the Graphic Hardware, but 100% sure is not the Java Code.
