Got some questions:

1. How to stop C.A.T. orderly?
Sometimes you need to stop. I trade on 7 exchanges with 1 to 3 different pairs.

2. How to restart C.A.T. after power failure (not orderly stopped)?
When you restart C.A.T. you may find in the balance some coins held for trading. With the Market Explorer you find that pair. HOWEVER, if the held amount is in the base market  you cannot find it. Or can you?

If I look at the balance, the held amount is not in the portfolio value, shouldn't it be included?

A "normal stops" consists of :
- stops all algorithms
- delete all orders
- close program

if an exchange api system returns the HELD FOR ORDERS you will be probably able to find all the pairs where a SELL Order is active.

I suggest to save an XML File just with parameters inside. You will be able to reload all the markets and then restore orders from market explorer.

I could try to develop something in french if you dont have any french reseller. I'm from Quebec/Canada.

I can have multiple reseller for any country no problem.
But in the French case, no, you're the first one.
You are free to choose the way to create your site/portal/blog.

Just consider the fact that 1 REF = 0.025  Grin

if you need help about how a workflow could works just pm me.

With workflow i mean

I'm looking for web developer who wants to create a reseller site to directly sell CAT.
They can directly get customers payment and then send me info to create CAT copies.
I will pay 0.025 BTC/copy

Hi,

There is a "Ping Type" combo (values:Static/Dynamic) in the "Ping Order Createor" panel.
What is the difference between dynamic and static?

Could you explain it with an example?

With "static", you define fixed buy and sell prices.

With "dynamic", you define the minimum gain you want to earn.
Take care to also set a buy limit that the buy price won't get pushed up.

If i want to "static" ping order, i need to set "Ping Pong Mode" to "Static" on right panel and i have to fill "Sell Always At" and "BuyAlways At" values.  Is it correct?

For example,

Current price is 15 and i want to buy 10, sell 20.

I will set "Sell Always At" to 20, and "Buy Always At" to 10 in the General panel.

In the "Ping Order Creator" Panel;
1-) If i set to 5 with "Unit Price", CAT will wait for the market price to be 10.
2-) If i set to 14 with "Unit Price", CAT will wait for the market price to be 14.  But if sell to 20, wait for the 10 on the next cycle. 14 is not important anymore.
3-) If i set to 22 (!!) with "Unit Price", CAT will wait for the market price to be 10 i think.  Maybe Cat buy 22 and sell 20 Smiley

Is this example correct?

Hi

I'm still struggling with CAT, because CAT is not reacting to the extreme volatility.
Example ETH:
traded in the 310 range days ago. Now a massive drop, so CAT made its last buy way too high.
So, I cannot get back into ping-pong, because all fiat is frozen on ETH at a high price.

How are you working working with that?
Any hints would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You should have set some price limits imo. If you let the bot decide by itself for the "returning ping", it might even buy at ath. So price limits protect you from that happening... And if it buys below your price limit and you still can't sell, you just know that there has been some drop in the market. Just wait for it bro... It's all we do nowadays Wink btc, etc, ltc, dash, bcc... I'm fucked all around as well.

I had set a price limit, but that was not low enough it seems... :-|

I thought I could use CAT for (more or less) automated trading.
What I experience now it's less: constant monitoring in case the market goes down or up (thus missing the ride). Maybe I have to find another solution.

But dont worry, ETH will be back in no time, lucky it wasn't some shit coin

True.

Bot does what you tell him to do, it bought low and too bad that price dropped.
If you dont want that to happen you place stop loss order OR average down

That's exactly what I'm looking for: how do I need to configure CAT?
Would be great to have a method to setect such drops.

Or maybe a better question: what would be a good pair to trade with small but many ping-pongs?

Why not add DeepOnion as payment method.  It is a new currency, most anonymous, going to get even more anonymous (than even Monero) with DeepTrust.  It has just been released this July.

Hi,
where is this coin traded?

 Huh

Hi,
it's not easy to give you answers, because there are too many variables that could comes in play.
I am a trader that usually works on no more than 15 markets
Bot can make profit un random pairs, but it's a random profit that could also be a loss.
