Different exchanges have now very different exchange rates. Is there a plan for arbitrary trading?

The different rates are caused by the difficulty and cost to actually transfer money to/from some of the exchanges, so how are you going to arbitrage that ?

it will be a "user parameter" you can add.
If you know that withdraw from exchange X costs 2%
And you want a net gain of 1%, your parameter will be 1% + 2 % + Order Fee (0.25%?) = 3,25%

And CAT will works with 3,25% Gain

Interesting. You would need to add the transaction fee too, and maybe bank transfer fee, as to complete the arbitrage you would need to transfer funds. Maybe margin trading fees too.

For example I start with 2000€ on exchange A, 2000€ on exchange B.

1BTC = 1800€ on exchange A, 1900€ on exchange B.

If I want to profit, I must buy on exchange A, and sell at the same time on exchange B. Then I must hurry to transfer the 1BTC to exchange B to cover the sell. Then I must hurry to send more money to exchange A to do it again.

What are your thoughts ?

Considering current BTC fees and transaction times, it seems like a difficult proposition.

Maybe with altcoins...

Arbitrage with BTC is purely for the whales these days with the transaction fees being so high. I sometimes run arbitrage with some smaller coins - but prefer range trading myself

I'm trading on Kraken and from the orders I see, I'm fighting against bots, so I guess I will need one myself. I will spend some time reading and looking before spending 0.23BTC though.

What you have to understand before make the investment is if the bot fit your way to trade...i suggest to read FAQ more and more time  Wink
For the rest i bought my copy and after first doubt Sampey perfectly drived me to the right way to use the bot.

Yes I'm doing the reading, it's complicated.

What I'm seeing when manually trading is orders with prices like 1925.478€ that is just 0.001 more or less than my order, so I get screwed. From what I'm seeing CAT (and other bots) are making such orders.

I cannot seem to get bittrex to work.  I generated my API keys, go back into the CAT and every time I attempt to login I get a User Not Found message... anyone else having this issue with Bittrex?
Trex is working fine for me - did you enable trading on the API key and follow 2FA/verification procedures whilst setting it up?

Yes, I've used it in the past.  I even generated my keys again just to be sure...

that's the problem, you must not change your API key. CAT works only with the API you activated in the past.
It's clearly written in the Term Of Service "Do not change your APi key"  Undecided

Can i resend my new key?  I apologize for my stupid mistake... ;-(

Very pleased with C.A.T. Bot. It is a trading tool and therefore it is only as good of trader as you are. It has all the settings required for adjustment of buy/sell pool, stop loss, and percentage limits. If you get greedy with how many ping-pong trade completions you try for and the market turns, you might get stuck with a few coins (cost of doing biz). Here's the advantage. You can run dozens of markets across many exchanges at the same time. The amount of gains are up to your risk. The many small gains add up quick. It has already paid for itself.

Hey there,
anyone got some results with this BOT already? Someone been using it for a bit longer maybe few month or even years?
How is it? What did you invest? What came out per day?
Rough estimations are enough just want to know in which scale this BOT operates.

Ok, the bot itself looks cool. But guys - do you have an appropriate strategy which can be used with this bot?

My eta is 2-3 weeks for beta
Great, that gives me time to read up on C.A.T. before I dive in!  Been eyeing your trader just haven't had a chance to come around and learn the details.
