OK, but I dot not know how much left in Cryptopia and how much hacker take last time.
I know that hacker now have about 25-30M in his addresses and it is 100% information.
Totally was 3 attack and each from 3-6 parts

Correction: he withdraw 16M real coins, and 19M returns to his wallet after chain reorganization.

nope, it's not 100%.
if wallet now is near empty and 35M still show up in accounts that means 35M fake coins were deposited.
if hacker sold 18M to other accounts he could withdraw only 35-18 = 17M real coins
(yeah he could withdraw some more btc maybe or anything but not CAPs).
those 18M coins withdrawn by good folk.
i hope you'r a good coder because only an artist can screw up things so simple  Smiley

Who say was 35M, now 35M and not real CAP but virtual balances.
WAS 16 add 53, total 69
Sell 19 , total not changed
withdraw 34,  total 35

It just simple example, in real attack hacker send and withdraw small amounts many times.

For protection from 51% attack exchange must compare own balance and wallet balance every 10 blocks, or every 5 min
and automatically stop trading if they not equal.

I haven't been able to log into Cryptopia for 24 hours now.   There is a long delay in the 2 factor emails they are sending, so long that they expire.  Their thread here is also showing other problems starting to be reported.  I really hope something isn't wrong as they are my favorite site.
if there is something wrong, they will fix it.

sure they will...
only been about 3 months their MTLMC wallet has been locked down "investigating transaction issues"
if my MTLMC they have locked up was converted to BTC three months ago i'd have twice the value now.
more actually if you count the bch and btcg forks.

Use 2FA Google Authenticator app instead of email and you will eliminate email factor when log into account. Works like a charm for me.

Thanks.  I like to log in with my desktop, so hoping this works:

https://www.maketecheasier.com/google-authenticator-windows/

It's still not cool how the emails are not coming on time, are expiring, and the tech support isn't responding to requests.   Been locked out for about two days.   My main email is a domain I own and so have to research how authenticator will work with that.

35-40M now. Open CAP trading and instead "Chart" tab, set "Distribution" and calculate first 100 balances. Also you can set 1000 and calculate all.
first 40 = 32M

yep, so trying to figure out ferengi math )
how could hacker withdraw all 35M if he(she) sold 18 to other accounts ?
obviously those people withdrew the rest, and seems you can't tell who's who.

OK, here is ferengi math. Hacker send to exchange 53M, sold 18 and withdraw 35M
We just can see only part of fake transactions in explorer. After each 6 part of attack, he send same coins to and from exchange.
For example:
stage 1: he send own 2 M in fake transaction and receive back 2M good coins and own coins returns to his wallet.
stage 2: send 4M and receive 4M, now have 8M
stage 3: send 8M
stage 4: send 16M
stage 5: send 32M and sell 18M, then try withdraw, but exchange have zero real coins and stop trading.

I think I just had a 90's movie flashback: For a security guard...

What the hell is going on with this piece of shit PoS coin?

So someone got hacked or forked the network or whatever and now someone made another fork and we have to send CAP to them or sign a message or something to get CAPP?

This is a $100k marketcap coin. Ain't nobody got time for that...

CAPP not fork of CAP, fully new coin with initial distribution to CAP users, except exchanges and hacker addresses.
CAPP start in 2018 and may be never will be on exchange. If all yours CAP at home wallet, just keep reserve copy of wallet.dat

Cryptopia not say that, it was my guess.

then ask them, i hope Tranz won't reimburse based on a guess

(well unless that guy sold all coins to himself and needs medical attention now lol)
Total balances can be easy calculated and it is 35-40M, I do not know how much left in wallet, but if problems with withdrawal, less them 1 M.

That is why I check each address and not take balances from richlist. But if you check top 3, find not existing transactions.

You can't calculate hacker positions based on top 3 addresses. Transactions not added to richlist after each block (may be hourly or daily), some was missed.

i wouldn't tell if not tested, all tx-es get caught by explorer database in 10 blocks for sure, maybe 6.
after that all orphaned ones (by 51) still remain there, which is enough 'coz cryptopia needs 20 confs,
and yes, they never go to richlist immediately, but after a day or so they'r all there.

Examples of misbehaving:
F23saSxaVWZsDG1GFFqCUuCa3wjbkwhSK1
Richlist say 6,159,206
Address check 4,159,206

EguenxPXyL4CZ41NXv1N7z45uJK2VathQu
Richlist say 980,000
Address check 0
