In light of the difficulties that Cryptsy is having which I hope Cryptsy eventually will work out. I believe that Bottlecaps should be listed on more exchanges.
+1 cryptsy has a huge fee for wridraw....there should be other exchanges

Caps is listed on Cryptopia and we just need some people to move some volume there.

WoW i´m even registered there.
Time to fire up my old scrypt miners and mint some PoW Caps.

My wallet has over 30k transactions hence using a lot CPU power.  (PoS mining is CPU mining after all)
Whats the quickest and best way (split blocks, blocksize etc) ,what you think ?

Wait 15 days coinage again then grrr
As high as you can without hitting max stake.
I have the wallet combine as much as possible to save on cpu usage as i have similar amount of transaction.
When i used autosavings, it seems the wallet splitts inputs in two so i stopped using that.

Sneak promotion, our asset fund is a longterm holder of CAP, and we offer our weekly stakes to be bought for XQN at 5% discount in our OTC direct trade thread.
We only want to sell portions of our stakes, and not our initial base holding.

Happy staking!

Where is everyone mining BottleCAPs ? I tried at Multipool.us but it is giving a coinbase error.

Where is the most recent wallet as well ?

CAPs definitely has gained more exposure IMO from Fallout 4 being so mainstream this time round.

Multipool was mining CAPs in the past 24 hours.
https://www.multipool.us/multiport_stats.php?alg=scrypt

Looks like the direct ports are:
US
stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:3349
stratum+tcp://us-west.multipool.us:3349

EU
stratum+tcp://eu.multipool.us:3349

The wallet I'm using is 2.2.2.0 :

Hope that helps.

Thanks ReydeApio, I really appreciate it Smiley

Of course extending CAP on presstab´s blockexplorer.

No-Brainer- It´s the best and nothing comes even close.
Wonder why HBN is not listed there. I think presstab makes good price @270$ for CAP&HBN for one year.
I´ll donate again for CAP, of course.

CAP is the best !  Wink

Hello all. I recently received a note from dreamwatcher. The yearly fee for HBN and CAP on CCE has come due. The fee to renew both for the year is $440.  For just 1 it is 275.

Is this something we want to renew as a community?  If so I need your help. I can not cover the cost myself. I need to raise at least $350 from the community and I will cover the rest.

Due date is the 1st of the year.

To donate for HBN send BTC here: 1GMH9jMKfrDx5ZurAwPqp7gwAerGKiPtFs

To donate for CAP send BTC here: 13Kwcjsprq942Bx3ddYFqzHgHnwdTx2dFw

If neither gets enough, the funds maybe combined to give at least 1 of them renewal, HBN will be first. If the combined total is not enough, funds will be returned.  We'll cross that bridge if it comes to it.

I think Presstab's block explorer is leaps and bounds better than any other and would rather put effort into raising funding to keep CAPs on there (and get HBN added*).  I have fired back up some GPUs to try and mine enough BTC to cover CAPs next monthly payment but not yet actually made the payment.

*HBN is apparently a bit more resource intensive presstab mentioned HBN would require a $30 setup fee and $10/month fee; 6month minimum.

I agree, i find myself mostly looking at Presstabs explorer and not so much CCE anymore.
Combined with the fact that for less than $270,- he is willing to host both CAP and HBN for one year I would suggest this option as my favorite.

Has anyone noticed an increased interest in bottlecaps since Fallout 4 came out? Do you all think there is any spill over?

It is almost impossible for people to find any information about bottlecaps. When you have to download the wallet from a thread at a forum the number of potential new users are very limited.

If bottlecaps had a professional looking web page it would be much easier to promote the coin. And it could potentially draw in new users.

Someone here bought bottlecaps.io. Maybe the community could put up a bounty for a site?

Yeah probably true, I would say ranking high on Fallout google searches is a must for bottlecaps.

Unable to Sync v2.2 wallet?

created bottlecaps.conf with nodes however getting lots of connection timeouts in the debug.log file and unable to sync.

Anyone have a list of active nodes and/or conf file I can use please? Any ideas.
