its normally thing. few bounty manager not update every week but prefer to update when bounty campaign end so better choice is stay keep posting and follow your bounty campaign. and make sure you do all requirements like minimum posting, and use signature till bounty end to get your reward from bounty
Lol, then what if they still refuse to update the sheet and in the end, you don't get paid because you didn't know if you still existed in the campaign or not. You would feel really bad and stupid at the same time for wasting your time for nothing at all! It is the job of the campaign manager to give some sort of updates at least every week to know your progress. Instead of keeping on posting, I would suggest you to move on to another campaign with a better manager.

I have been doing bounty before and if the spreadsheet is not getting updated regularly or the manager is not communicating at all then it is a clear sign it is going to be a scam. You can just move on and quit or try to open scam accusation and force the manager to response.

What would you do if you've been promoting a project for over a month and the bounty manager refused to update spreadsheet? After getting in touch with admin on telegram channel they keep saying no update from team yet, what will be the best decision if you are in my shoe?

well, honestly i can say that you supposed to check the past of the bounty manager in the beginning. because there are so many crap campaigns and also so many good campaigns with crap managers. you should consider this factor in the beginning before joining the campaign.
you can let the project team know about this issue. that is the only thing that you can do.

If there is a disconnect between the bounty manager and the project team, this may mean a sign of some future commotion in either the project or bounty, they may choose not to play by the rule, or the BM may be holding hostage. A good bounty manager must always be in talks with the project team. Not updating stakes is not really a big deal, provided things get sorted out in the future.

if the campaign is still ongoing, I don't mind spreadsheet that are not updated by the manager, but if the campaign has finished and the spreadsheet are not updated, usually some participants will urge the manager to update it immediately. I suggest that you be patient while the campaign is still ongoing, sometimes the manager will renew his work at the end of the campaign

You need patience mate, if the project is promising and they are updating on social media then it's better to continue your work, it might feel discouraging because spreadsheet got abandoned kinda but few BM works this way

Its nothing at this moment. When the bounties used to pay like 100-200$ for just posting tweet for a month, then also there were many managers and project teams which disqualified people for no reason. Personally, I just never expected more from these projects and didnt waste my time and efforts convincing these people. If they give stakes in the first week then only I would continue otherwise, I would just find a different one.

I suggest you find information about the bounty manager, few bounty managers are well known for leaving spreadsheet until bounty is finally over, secondly make sure the project is still functioning, this is very important

i will just leave and not expect anything from them and assume i have been a victim of a scam project, because it is useless if we continue to complain about it when they no longer care. i have received such incidents often and therefore there is a time when we should really stop promoting their projects and move on to something clearer and more certain to be promoted

is this a hawk network project? but hopefully not, in my opinion the only way to deal with this is to be patient because surely every bounty manager certainly does not do an escrow on bounty rewards. so of course they will only know the orders of people who work for them (the team from some of project that held bounty), but sometimes I myself wonder why this is happening so much now before they did not discuss clarity of the allocation or the problem of reward that will be paid? , but you have to be careful because some of the current bounty managers are a bit assertive and if he hates you doing repeated questions, maybe he will get your name off the bounty list and that's not a good thing.

actually to know the spreadsheet update is the right of bounty participants, we have to ask if we really want to know. because if the spreadsheet is updated every week, bounty participants can also find information about the work they do and can make bounty participants also more excited to do their work.

my advice for now is to leave it and stop following the bounty campaign. or look for another bounty campaign whose campaign duration is no more than a month, even if there are more than a month, look for a bounty manager that always updates the spreadsheet data. because if it's not like that, there will be data manipulation when the bounty campaign is finished, I ever feel like that before. so now, I've deciced to stop following the bounty campaign because the team is not cooperative and also the bounty manager doesn't care about the complaints of the participants.

During my early days into the forum I've experienced similar things. By that time we can wait until there is something positive, I've waited for months without getting the rewards. Those time spend have given some learning, and further whenever I join a bounty I used to move if there isn't no update for few weeks. Here however we request we're gonna get the same response stating no update from the team regarding bounty distribution.

You have been well advised, If you are used to some managers, you will know how they work. Some managers need patience, it could take them weeks to update but they will, some managers usually delay signature campaign updates. Over time you will understand them. They even have group they work with, some delegate the updates and may require reminding such manager often. My only fear in signature could be the regular delete of posts which may affect numbers of post count, so it is important that I make relevant posts to keep them available while the manager counts at any time.

I will quit the bounty.
1. Its likely the team has not paid the bounty manager
2. Its likely the bounty manager has lost direct contact with team and lastly, it's likely the team/project is a scam. Save yourself the pain and quit already.

There have been very many projects like that. Some have even been around for years, until now there was no payment whatsoever. Nothing can be done, except keep waiting and waiting. Because we promote projects is our choice from the start.

What if the bounty manager is known for abandoning spreadsheet in past bounties he managed and the bounty manager bitcointalk account has red trust as well can they be trusted?

If the manager who is known for leaving the spreadsheet then the manager knows that the bounty managed is a scam, the manager will not continue the spreadsheet because it will be a waste of their time.
With the red trust in the bounty menager you can judge for yourself because what I know is that there are red trust managers even they are trustworthy in managing their campaigns well sometimes like that still exists.

Bounty managers are of different types, some are very serious with their job and some are not, in your case just find out if the project is active, i mean good updates from the team if there is updates then there is hope that after bounty ends the spreadsheet will be updated

For this problem I don't need to be so panicked, because most likely the team is busy taking care of the others and if it is managed by the escrow you don't need to hesitate. indeed, if the spreadsheet is not updated it is quite confusing for bounty hunters, because of the thought of whether to get stake or not. if I myself are quite frustrated if the payment continues to be delayed, or absolutely not paid by the manager.
