Here's another design idea, without staging. These encompasses all three factors. The "I" (red), The "X" is visible, however the "C" portion is of a different color and texture.

What do you think? Smiley

Really like the top one there in your last post.  keep the ideas coming..

The idea to integrate iX and C is very clever.  And I think the design looks good as well.  Definitely something we can put up for vote.

Thanks.

Johnny,  that's a good point, however:

A) Thomas has never said that's what IXC was meant for, so friction is just guessing.

B) Any new coin is a hard sell to the masses so it's better when things make sense and are easy to remember.

So telling people iXcoin's wallet always starts with X even though the Colin's name starts with an i and then the symbol is neither an X nor an I but rather an e, well, it gets messy.

I'm willing to go with either an I or an X - but I think we should focus on those 2 options since they make the most sense.

Regards...

CfA,

You're an idiot like usual.

I didn't do the 100 IXC logo contest.  I'm just using the same thread.

I'm paying 10 times more, 1,000 IXC.  500 for the winning i logo and 500 for the winning X logo.

Go fish.

why do u guys participate in a logo contest for 100 IXC? thats like 3$ = waste of ur precious time for nothing

What is a waste of my time is reading your posts scattered across the board forums.

I've nothing but extreme gratitude for all of Vlad2Vlad's efforts, in particular helping me understand how IXC as a coin has value way above current prices & how it can potentially extend Bitcoin's wealth to a much needed broader cross section of humanity.  I wouldn't say this is inevitable, but it definitely has the potential.

I'm particularly fond of accumulating it @ these levels, although my purse is thin & 100ixc would add substantially to it, I'm not a graphic artist designer.  To-date, kussaka gets my vote for logo design, personally I would like to see his/her design (see my last post on this thread) have the dot on the 'i' with a 3d hold in it's center & the shadowing removed, but my tastes are far from a professional perspective, my expertise in found at the coding level, picking wild berries and raising poultry.

In any case, those with a positive perspective on the future of IXCoin should vote to decide the outcome of this bounty, not just trolls and shills paid in fiat who's goal it is to destroy crypto currencies in general....

Can you do a version with a round dot on the i (so it doesn't look so much like the do not smoke cigarette, lol)?

 Cheesy

That was my favorite, the X stands strong, yet the 'i' is part of it, also this reduced very well to an icon size:

just took a copy of the red one & made a crude freehand opening in the round dot, like this:

Perhaps someone could do a better job with the right software, if this version is liked....

ETA: Also removed the shadow below, didnt like that part of the logo, credits to kussaka, I'm not looking for bounty out of helping out here..

I like your last one better than your first set.  Those seemed to bulky to me.

We're getting some pretty good submissions.

And new symbol:

"i" - main letter,  "x" c noticeable in "=i=" a little bit

Interesting.  Similar to the old symbol, with a 'i' instead of 'I'.

so u guys are taking part in a logo contest for not even $5? ur awesome communists! Grin

@kussaka  nice skill! saddening that somebody skilled as u works as a slave for those big holders of IXC. sorry about that!

Another hero to save the day.

The last bounty was only 100 IXC.  I'm paying 5 times that and there will be 2 prizes of 500 each.

If you don't like it then don't participate but I see you're already participating and you're doing it for FREE.

Wow, that's amazing photoshop skills.

Thank's Smiley

But you would have to be an artist to hand write that symbol.  And it wouldn't take too long as well....at least for non artists like myself.

So we're back to step one.

I agree. It is difficult and for me too to draw this symbol by hand .. have been several attempts Smiley
