It depends on the demand of your token that you got in bounty rewards if there is too many bounty applicants or members then you should sell it immediately because other applicants will be panick to sell and this will cause the dumping of your coin/token.

there is in the economy such a thing as missed profit, and although you invest only time, you miss the opportunity to sell at a good price, I will not say the exact amount, but if you wait you can lose tens of thousands of dollars

Mostly as per my knowledge better don't sell them because it might give you more profit if you hold it for long term. Check twice if you joined in potential project then it will automatically give thrice income if you have hold them for more than 6months.

It is really depends on the hunter because if i were you,i will hold these tokens until they have reached their full potentials, because most of the developers of these new projects needs a lot of time so they can accomplish their roadmap and it takes months to years for them to do what they need to do,that is the perfect time to sell these tokens.

Try HODL for the tokens you can get from your bounty campaigns especially when you know that it is a good project you can hold it within a year.

Try HODL coins for months after you received it coins because you simply giving a chance to grow but that isnt always the case you see most of the tokens drop their price after the ico because there is a hype of urgent trading after the token is distributed so my suggestion is  to move before this happens.

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

If ever I had a bounty campaign reward, I'll rather sell immediately than to hold because I'll give my self a reward for spending time and hard work answering those topic.

There are times when I choose to hold the coin and there are times when I would sold immediately which would depend on my situation at the moment. If I am out of funds then I would sell the coin but if half of it is enough then I would only sold half of it. One of the frequent things that I do when I receive the bounty is to sold half of it if its value is valuable and if not then I would just choose to sell it all.

If I think that the coin has a potential to be more valuable in the future because the communication is constant and the team are knowledgeable about their project and most of the time answer the investor's questions then I would hold it until such time when its value reach 5x or 10x. There are even coins that I am willing to hold for years because I believe in it and the developers are very active and you can see their dedication to the project.

most of the time the bounty enters the money so it is impossible that they do not immediately sell their income to the bounty but seeing many holders and they will not actually sell until the value of the net increase does not depend on the person.i really want to hold it especially when i know that it's good and the bigger i get when i hold it but sometimes it is inevitable that it does not sell

Actually i was just in the dilemma also, want to hold in the long run but kinda need in something also tease me to sell my bounty token, but if i think as an investor i felt that selling my token in young development time not give it is true value to sell, so i still hold for now on.

You could sell it right away if you relly need the money. If you dont ened it just hold it and wait for its price to increase and then sell. Its your choice anyway.

Really depends on the project. Most of the bounties I get in I choose to HOLD tho, unless they get listed on big exchange on day one - then I usually sell.

I am selling immediatley all the bounty rewards i get because i am afraid that the value of  the bounty rewards  will be really low when i hold it for long time, and i want to sell immediatley because a lot of the rewards i get is just pumping on the 1st day and will go dump on the other day.
remember, not all coins are always dump after distribution.
many coins are up, u must understand what the coin is.

The optimal strategy, if you like gambling, is to hold.  This is because every now and then there has been bounty which if held ended up paying hundreds of thousands or millions even though most flop and go to zero.  For example Oyster bounty hunters who held ended up making 100k+ just for 3 weeks.

Of course this happens so rarely that even though it is optimal in the long run you risk never hitting that jack pot in the short run.

Personally my go-to is to keep maybe 10% of each bounty just in case it is one of those super payouts, but sell the rest to pay the bills.  I am not a gambler.

Now proof of development makes it much more likely to get hits which will play out than fizzles or scams.

It all depends on the project. If this project is good and promising, you need to keep these tokens and wait for the development of the project.  but  If the project is a weak or frank fraud, I will immediately sell the token of the project.

I joined bounty campaigns because I want to earn. When I receive my rewards and if the price is good, of course I will sell it. But I wont be in too much rush to do it. I will divide it into half. 50% will be for selling and 50% for hodling.

So many reason why there are lot of people sell imediately their reward token for them to make it local money and buy foods like what you said, if it is the only way to earn money, they can’t wait to increase the value first before they sell if their stomach is empty. I am sure that no person will sell their token if they think the price is down if they not really need it for sure.

When new coins go to stock exchanges, they usually fall heavily in value, so selling them makes no sense. It is better to wait and make a big profit.

in my opinion, it is better to bear to wait for normal eth price and after that I will sell all these tokens. and if eth price declines better we just wait.
