It depends on the situation, but people don't buy into ico to sell at the lowest or at the ico price. So I'd hold.

Bounty rewards basically free income. You should first sell the coin if you are in profit. But, mind it, study the company website and the white paper and if you feel that the company project is unique and viable in long-term then keep aside a portion of that coin in your wallet forever.

For every ICO campaign I take part I made thorough research, so I am quite confident of the success of the projects, so when I am given the bounty rewards I intend to hold them for long enough time to realise the value and full potential of the projects. Also since I get these bounty rewards free of charge and I don't need the money I am more likely to hold to wait for greater return.

Sell immediately or hold? for me it depends because sometimes if you HOLD a token maybe it will go wasted or being dumped in future. And if you SELL a token or coins in its low price then after how many days or weeks the coins of its particular price will rise into 5 to 7 times you regret it. So always think all your decision making have a risk. Smiley Smiley Smiley

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

To be honest i exchanged my tokens from my first bounty as soon i got them. Then i used Bitcoin to myself new computer because the one i was using 3-4 years was extremely bad. After that i took part in second bounty and i'm still holding the tokens so it depends on it if you need money or not. I won't sell my coins as long as i trust in project and i don't have to.
I also have projects that I value very much and I'm unlikely to sell these projects in the near future. I too strongly believe in these projects. I will sell some other projects at the first opportunity. Everything depends on the specific project.

If you receive your bounty rewards and you have less tokens in your wallet I suggest I will just hold my coins and try to get knowledge on trading , with your initial bounty token rewards you can start little trading with your tokens
What are you talking about? How does it depend on the quantity?

of course I will see the project first, if if the price of tokens that we get it when it is released in the market and have a high price then I will immediately sell my tokens! there is also sometimes that makes me not sell coins even though the price is high, that is when I am sure and I know the project is good then I will hold my token until the price goes up to the moon. but usually I more often sell token bounty results rather than menahanya for a long time!

Try sell and hold before. now prefere hold for several month. as i see most projeckts after ICO pump his coin but you must know when its doing. most time its better then selling immediately

I've been killing myself to tell people it's a better strategy to keep a storage of different tokens until the right moment comes, than to dump the tokens at the first opportunity.

Unfortunately, the OP is right. Many people are not patient, and don't listen. The result? Many top projects don't run bounty campaigns, because they don't want thousands of dumpers at the first seconds their token hits exchanges!

If you can sell it fast for ICO price, then sell, if not, then you'll have to hold it at least a month or so till it grow up a little, so you can sell it for better price. I hold only interesting for me coins, this is not good time to sell tokens tho, due to market situation.

You are right, actually in my opinion also for now better save than sell. if they see the price movement maybe they will wait for it.

I sell immediately because I'm afraid of falling asset. but after some time I begin to buy the asset again, but for a lower cost. In such cases, it's better not to take risk

Bounty is a nice for those that have no helpers. Personally I have benefited a lot but just that coin market is bad this period with price being Red almost everyday. I have at least from reward from Bounty program like from BGD, HOQU, THUG. But I have not sell any because price keep dropping everyday. But I know for sure that one day all will moon and cash out soon. At first I was skeptical about bounty whether it will bring any reward until I saw my friend cash out big from Bounty without investing any of his money. I recommend bounty those start up newbie in crypto space. Sometimes sell immediately or hold I do every.

if the coin dump hard once they hit the exchange.in this case,i hold my Bounty coins until price gets Back to normal or even if good news are coming.the only case i sell immediately is when price hit 2-3x once they hit an exchange.it's a Bit subjective.

Do they always trade like this? I mean, few days ago I received some tokens > token hits exchange while I was asleep > woke up to see the chart went like 4000% up to -14%.
