There will be no official announcement. There is no clear law that ICO is illegal. So the attention and prohibition of some people is limited.

I do not think that they will be blocking users, but they wont be accepting any advertisement related to crypto currencies and they have the rights to determine what they advertise and with many scams being advertised with the help of social media, they might have come to a conclusion to ban every crypto based advertisement .

Facebook and twitter are the same. They are also like google. Their business is actually threathened by growing cryptocurrency. I think they are stupid. WHy do they launch ICO. If they launch ICO there will be many investors who will participate. John MC Cafee is the pioneer for public figure and well known antivirus company that launches ICO. Bobsrepair is a good project. Google, twitter and fb will made big succesful if they hold ICO. Yeah they are too rich to make ICO.

I haven't heard something like that before, I have friends to use Twitter and they follow thousands of people. Are you serious about that? I never heard somebody's Twitter account is blocked due to following. Where is your source, please show us?

I was planning to set up a Twitter account and build it up so I could join the social media campaign. But it seems things are getting too complicated on these platforms now a days. Obviously, things are being manipulated because they see the great potential of earning with cryptocurrencies. These people are in the race of getting the biggest bag they can grab! And small time investors like us are just spectators in this race...

Not always! I mean you can choose another hashtags. For example with name of the project or site name.

In fact we shouldn't use #ICO. I was recently confused when my followers didn't increase within a week. So I tried to erase #ICO #Bounty and now I'm happy again with new followers.

This is bullshit,because if its true twitter is cheating with their users,you could be banned without knowing you are violating these rules,because it doesnt indicated in the official twitter terms and conditions,doesnt matter how you post if you are violating you will be banned for sure.Just to play safe do not try to use these hastags or else you will get disabled if its true.

I think that many users will take this into account. And this is a very big loss for a twitter, because they are due to the blocking of advertising ico and cryptocurrency will lose a lot of users.

In my experience. Most of the twitter locks happen due massfollowing people with automatic services, such as browser plug-ins for massfollowing, or various auto-services.
Next comes the blocking for spam - this is when in a very short period of time doing 4 or more retweets from one place.

And if the lock was already from your IP address, then it is likely that all other accounts will also be blocked.
