Did twitter announce something about cryptocurrency before they block the accounts which contain cryptocurrency? They should make a statement first.and actually you own that account therefore you should be the one to decide either to continue and enjoy using their app or delete it. They have to.get use of it what most of the individuals who are registered and and block them then what result coud we expect?This is a sad scenario for them. They should give the importance of every member in the twitter. There will come.a day that they will regret about this one if it is true.
Twitter is surely going to be irrelevant. All these ban they are imposing is a way for them to get unto cryptocurrency at cheap price after FUDing t0 drive the price down. Remember the owner of twitter said Bitcoin will be worth much more ita current price. So why hamper the technology? Makes no sense

I have been block permanently for I think 3 to 4 times, it was when I started following others and the later on when I log-in to my account it was block. Luckily I have manage to unlock the account. As of right now I can still use the hashtags blockchain and crypto related terms, if this is true then I would love to remove those and just tweets with other words used. In any case , can you kindly post sources or screenshots so that we can further avoid being blocked.

In my experience twitter block you if you are doing mass following... if you don’t do so if you post many tweets also with #ICO I think there is no problem.. I do lots of tweet x day and I never had a problem...

Well it's hard to believe. Twitter stop sometimes account who infringe their policy. Specially spamming. I do follow a lot of people in day, but I did not get anything yet.
The cap is 1000 /day. IF you go up to 1k in 1 day they probably (not 100% of cases) suspend you till you will confirm you are not a bot

Is this your own experience? So far I have read mainly fud around this. Yes Twitter has stopped doing banner advertising for CryptoCurrencies but I don't know aby who had this kind of problems and got shutdown for using hashtags...

That really sux if they are beginning to block accounts that talk about ICS. I mean this is a joke and what about the so called freedom of speech etc? So it's o.k to post hate speech and violence to others but you are not allowed to talk about cryptocurrencies and ICOS? I am not seeing too many people on this thread confirming that they have been banned or seen others' banned. I think this person just wants other to not join twitter campaigns. There is a difference between direct advertisements and tweeting about things you like personally. I thought twitter's original announcement was foolish and short-sighted. I don't rely on twitter's board of directors to keep me safe from financial ruin. I rely on them to keep their friggin website up and running. Maybe add a new feature or something every now and then.

Just do not need to write tweets ONLY with hashtags #ICO and the like. And then some crypto accounts resemble bots, they do not tweet on any other topics, they do not retweet others, they do not write replies.
