I don't know exactly what you've done, and can't give you a concrete answer.

However, if you were playing around with the wallet, you may have started on testnet. Make sure that you're on mainnet.

In the Overview in the XAYA Electron wallet in the lower right you'll see some network information. Make certain that you're on mainnet:

But, that may not be the issue. You could have copied the address wrong. Make certain that you copy the address without any whitespace.

It's a bit hard to grasp what might have gone wrong with so little information. In the forums there is lots of information and guides on to how to use the wallet, maybe have look there: https://forum.xaya.io/forum/16-support/

Yes, that will be fine. There will be some deadline, but none has been set yet.
