Plant looks very fast and strong, but we all know that is fight is a mismatch and that's why he really looks good, Truax is a journey man and old. And I don't think that is enough to beat Canelo if they fight this year.

I haven't seen the full fight, but base on what I read, it was a one sided fight, as he pick Caleb Truax in a 12 gruelling rounds. Truax was no match he was bloodied. The knock out didn't come as Plant claim that he hurt his hands (and possibly broken), in the 4th or 5th round. I fight with Canelo is inevitable
this year or early next year depending on Canelo's 2 fight this year.

Fight is over guys, it was a dominant performance by Caleb Plant to win a UD. Then it's Canelo's turn, Yildirim this February and then Saunders on Cinco de Mayo, then Mexican Independence Day in September for Caleb Plant in a reunification fight, best of the best in the 168 lbs division.

This was not a great opponent for Plant. It seems like nobody in this division is willing to face a worthy contender unless they get the Canelo fight. If Plant had faced a more credible opponent it would've made him the frontrunner to face Canelo in May, instead he chose to play it safe and now has to wait in line behind Billy Joe Saunders.

Can Truax last for 12 rounds? But yeah, if this will last for 12 round, Caleb Plant via decision is more than likely to happen here. At 3.25 right now (3.20 at stake), that's a good odd to bet. Maybe will be putting a lil bit so it will be interesting for me to watch.

He will try to survived that's for sure and @3.2 for Caleb Plant to win via decision is a good odd to bet. Truax is an experienced boxer so maybe he can used it to at least go full 12 rounds but I'm sure he will absorbed a lot of punishment in return.

Although in the weigh in, he looks so soft as compare to Plant who's really in the best fighting shape of this life. One way for Truax to really have a chance to win here is to really rough up Plant early and make him uncomfortable instead of fighting in the distance.

Everything went smoothly during the weigh-in and no one was tested positive for COVID-19 so this fight is a go.

Good news for bettors as there are more options/market now on my favorite bookies and have changed my mind to bet for Calib Plant via Decision @3.25 as i find this attractive.

Definitely, no one will bet on that odds, the reason why I want to bet early is that the under 8.5 might go down a bit as the fight gets closer, as least betting early you will get a good odds.

And I'm saying that the fight should happen in September, Mexican Independence day, it will really make a lot of money. Oscar Dela Hoya used to have September save for his fight because of this. Now Canelo is going to inherit that because not only he is Mexican, he is the cash cow right now.

Caleb Plant has the other side of the belt in the 168 lbs division. So he is on the collision course with Canelo specially if he win it, regardless by knock out of decision. And I'm sure Canelo are going to watch this fight in the sideline with his trainer to re-assess Caleb Plant as future opponents.

And as we can see in the odd for Caleb is very high as if he is not going to lose this fight unless some freak accident happen inside the ring.

Canelo is still hungrier and for sure, he wants to unite all the belt in this weight class if it is allow. But most of the time, those sanctions bodies and boxing politics are preventing this to happen.

There are too much money to be made that these sanctioning bodies will benefit in the long run. They might delay it to create an audience, but it will eventually happen.
