Youtuber are a hell of a money-maker.

Maybe Floyd was basing on this fight of Logan Paul against KSI.

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/416017/ksi-logan-paul-sold-over-1000000-pay-per-views/

Quote
HUGE NUMBERS KSI reveals his fight with Logan Paul sold over 1,000,000 pay-per-view buys, but dismisses excessive earnings reports

This exhibition fight is even making good buys compared to the real fights in average, so this is just all about money, knowing what person would attract money and Floyd won't be hurt, then he will fight and make easy money.

I don't think Floyd needs rules to win. He needs to have something said to him like "let him hit you a few times, let this continue for a few rounds for the show, and don't kill him when you go for the knock out".

Those are already indeed some bullshit rules.  Cheesy
They do know that they can make money with some rounds of letting himself being punched by the opponent into his own ass.
2-3 rounds maybe to make peoples money worth.Oopss i forgot that this might be an another 1 round fight just
like on what happened into that Japanese fighter he had fought on an exhibition.

This issue of fixed matches has made me changed my attitude towards BOXING games, i regretted betting on the last recent exhibition fight which Tyson won but game was later turned draw, what a mix priority. This game has been my most favorite game so far but becasue of the recent happenings am bent to change my mind toward the game.
You cannot expect a fair judgement in exhibition fights and if some top fighters are doing that then going for a draw is the best bet and rarely you see a draw option in betting sites but Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul could be different as Mayweather will be looking for a win and Logan Paul looking for a lucky punch, i need to look at the rules they will be implementing about the rounds as every rule will be implemented to favor Mayweather.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
We've seen Floyd beat up bigger guys than Logan Paul, In the first place why fight people who barely knows boxing. Why not go with a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. Now that's a true fight between great player's that i wanna see, because the last time wasn't pretty convincing at all, it should be held at fair grounds not with bias judges.
After all the problems setting up that fight and the years it took I really think that both of them are over with each other, also it is not like it was an exciting fight that we want to see again, this is why the Manny vs Marquez fights got 4 editions, even if Marquez was not at the level of Manny all the fights were very exciting and people wanted to see more of them, but the styles of Manny and Mayweather simply do not mix well at all and another fight will simply be more of the same.

Whether we like it or not, there are still people who will watch this fight, me personally will not buy the PPV as there are a lot of free streaming online so I will just watch them, my only interest is just to bet, though it's not an even match but the asian handicap will make it even, you know what I'm saying.

Opportunities for those gamblers who loves taking that kind of risk, knowing that the fight is just a no bearing one. We all know that there are still fans and they are willing to take it, promoters knows that before calling this fight the consensus was  made, checking if support for this fight will still be there.

And since it's happening we can just say that everything has set to go what the fighters are waiting now

are the paycheck being collected after this events to enjoy those profits.

Well if they really want to make things official I still think making this a profrssional fight is the way to go rather than actually trying to profit from each other just because of their names. Because Mayweather is actually just doing this because he knows himself that there is no bearing whether he wins this match or not. He might have woken up on the time he fought McGregor where Connor actually gave him a good early round.

To me there is no doubt that the match will be "fixed", as in the result is already decided. Betting on "exhibition fights" like this shouldn't even be possible.
That’s expected since the fight of Manny and Floyd, well I don’t really believe on Floyd because he has a lot of fixed game so bettors must be careful on this one. Anyway, I wish to see a real fight again and not just a fixed boxing game, we deserve to see such excitement again, that only happens to a reputable fighter.

Does have any news about bookies that will cover this match? Even though it will be an exhibition match of course Mayweather will win so it's an easy money for everyone but just imagine if Floyd lose to Logan Paul.

Are people gonna actually bet on this fight? Because you won't really see an equal matchup here and obviously Mayweather and Paul are doing this for money purposes and maybe added fame for Logan Paul which he actually really really like. The only way to stop this two from earning money from their useless ways of facing each other is for us to actually not watch them. I myself personally didn't knew about the Nate Robinson vs. Jake Paul match up not until I saw the vid where Robinson was put to sleep. IMO don't add to the noise people are giving for this people especially don't bet on this kind of shit.

This is a bad game to gamble on. In my opinion, Mayweather on no circumstances would accept a lose so it's worthless to bet on Jake Paul. But considering the nature of game, Mayweather may accept a draw if he receives enough money. And as it's again going to be a fundraisers, I guess people would love to see a well balanced fight. The results could be pre-planned so I don't think bookies are going to provide good odds for this one.

Both the players have huge fan base and it is a fact that millions of them will watch this fight on PPV, irrespective of whether it is competitive or not. To be frank, I don't think that Logan Paul may survive a single round against Floyd Mayweather. But then, this is an exhibition fight and Mayweather may go easy against Paul. He also need to make sure that the fight lasts for at least 5-6 rounds.

That is the point altogether, Floyd Mayweather is not planning to fight anyone that is world class boxer and he knows he can still make money fighting someone that is completely new to the field and i would say that he is smart enough to understand the business and he is well aware that he can make easy money and the revenue he could generate is millions where other boxers are not able to and if he is a position like that he can always fight less experienced fighters and make money.

In having the stats of 50W 0L 0D then you can really say that he already knows on how this sports do play on when it comes to money making thing
but we cant deny the fact that he wont be reaching out this numbers or achievements without having prior skill on taking down those fighters.
For now he may see that exhibition fights are much more easier to make money with less effort when it comes to fighting his opponent.
The pride of being a true boxer might really be existing into this kind of behavior but well it his own body and his own decision and as long
he do make some bucks then that what matter most.
It's always about money for Floyd, he proved it possible to make easy money when he fought a UFC fighter, though that was an exhibition fight but it was the easiest fight for him that generates a lot of money, now trying to fight a youtuber which is not a threat for Floyd, so he doesn't need to train hard for this as he can just play around if he likes to, entertain the viewers then easy money after the fight.

We can expect to see more of this from Floyd if people continues to support him.

Just go inside the ring, start counting technical points and that's it.
Anyway, if he can still rake money, it means, he has still a lot of supporters that can put up with his fight style.
But would be nice if we will learn that some of the funds will be allocated to some charity organizations.
At least fight for a purpose and not taking all the money for themselves.

Floyd Mayweather is not just a clown hes the circus. This fight is definitely his another fund raiser just like his previous fights, this man knows no boxing and he built his legacy raising money. Well even he topped as number one before boxing enthusiasts knew who he is.

Basing of on his current statistics or numbers then theres no doubt this man is one of the top on this career and being undefeated which all boxing fans and enthusiast do
knows about it.

Even though he had these kind of numbers but the appreciation and impression towards him isn't really that much of that had some interest of people.
but instead people do see him as a clown.

Making money is primary goal of his and it isn't surprising that people would be having that kind of bad impression specially
making now some fights on fighters that it isn't on the same sport.

To me there is no doubt that the match will be "fixed", as in the result is already decided. Betting on "exhibition fights" like this shouldn't even be possible.

He has retired and now more into exhibition matches or fixed matches (as we doubt).

There is more money to him as a retired professional boxer in the entertainment industry.
