You own the pen

Mayweather vs McGregor was perhaps one of the biggest fights so far in this century. You can compare it with an exhibition match. Mayweather earned around $280 million during the fight against Mcgregor and this was perhaps the largest paycheck of all time for a single match. Ideally you should be comparing with the revenues from KSI vs. Logan Paul, which was much lower.

It was the first really big cross over between MMA and Boxing and people were really excited. In the end it was a bit boring that they didn't switch up and to the Cage in a second match. It should be more fair. Same with now Logan Paul calling out Conor McGregor to box with him. If you really have balls and want to proof something you should take him on his real profession not a boxing ring. I am afraid Mayweather is just going to crush Logan Paul.

I wouldn't use the word "crush", we should just use straight up destroy. Floyd Mayweather would destroy Logan Paul, no doubt about it. But since we are talking about an exhibition match, surely Floyd would stretch this game to maybe 2 rounds or 3 rounds but I don't think that would change the outcome of this bout. I wonder if some online casinos would include this match.

The match is one-sided but if there's no doubt that some site would gonna make some room for this match maybe just to promote their sites or services. Nevertheless, this match is just fun to watch and after all, they already signed the contract the fight will happen next year. To be honest, I want to see Floyd fight again even though it's a exhibition match.

But definitely it will not be as big as what he earned during the Mcgregor fight, it might millions but I'm sure it will not hit over $100 million in this fight. Logan Paul is popular as a youtuber, but I'm sure not all his subscribers or whatsoever will watch the fight, some would even just watch a free live streaming.

the biggest exhibition match of the century? yes, but the biggest fight of the century? no. as far as I know at the time of their match McGregor was an amateur in the professional world of boxing. everybody(at least most people I know) knew that he didn't stand a chance against Mayweather. not being biased but I think Pacquiao vs Mayweather was the biggest fight of the century. both boxers have an incredible(maybe the best) boxing record and fight history amongst other boxers on their era which what makes their fight the biggest in the century(but also disappointing).

Agree, the McGregor and Mayweather fight is purely just for a show and money. Switching from one sport to another is difficult for any athletes, you cannot make a boxer out of an MMA player over night or even in a month. Mayweather's exhibition matches will not make too much hype and excitement as it was before he retired boxing.

We will see on this upcoming fight, it might not create as big as the hype before, but we are still talking of millions here and how good Mayweather in making money by fooling people, sorry to say that, I just feel that if we continue to support his fight, we might see more of this in the future as it's easier to do than a real competition.

People wants to see a Mayweather vs Pacquiao even just for an exhibition, I think it's possible, isn't it?

And if Mayweather loss, he is still undefeated since this is just an exhibition.

But I guess Mayweather is afraid to get a loss in this fight, base on the article that I read (posted below) Mayweather was trained hard and risking his position or did not take his exhibition fight against Logan Paul. However, we will expect that Mayweather will win this fight but who knows if Logan Paul will luckily beat Mayweather that would be a big jackpot on him.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-9062923/Floyd-Mayweather-train-exhibition-fight-against-YouTuber-Logan-Paul.html

But let see what will happen, this fight will bring excitement even though just for money and entertainment.

The article only said that but Mayweather knows his opponent is just an amateur, he can play with him because Mayweather is not a kind of a fighter who would knock out an opponent early, maybe this will end until the last round but for sure Mayweather would win.

Articles are just hyping the fight, the writer could be paid to promote a fight, or the writer just trying to caught the attention of the people to read his article.

Exactly, Logan Paul vs KSI might earn millions of dollars but probably way below what Mayweather earned during the Conor Mcgregor fight, however, millions is still money and Mayweather has a lot of followers too, so probably it will be a big payday for both but not gonna hit higher that what Mayweather previously earn against Mcgregor.

People are getting used to exhibition fight, so excitement won't be the same anymore.

Well if they were looking for the biggest douchebag vs douchebag fight on the planet, this very well might be the best fight they could come up with.  As much as I can't stand the "youtube star" Logan Paul, I think I dislike the racist, wife beating, royal pos of shit Floyd Mayweather even less.  We all know Mayweather is going to win this fight, but maybe we might just get lucky and Logan lands a punch that Floyd can't recover from...one can only dream.

They are tie but I'm on Mayweather side on this bout since seems like Logan Paul's head bloated for the win he got for his past fight and he think he can beat anyone even professional in the canvass  Cheesy, I want to see how Mayweather beat this guy and make him sleep in the ring.

But if Paul will get a lucky shot and make Mayweather sleep then this is a huge break for him and he will get more fame in this boxing scene.

Lol It's a tough call for who is the bigger douchebag.  & to be fair, I think the biggest doucher vs doucher fight has already happened before when Mayweather and Conner McGregor squared off.  It seems that Logan Paul is also trying to get Conner to fight him.  Would love to see him and Conner square off in the octagon verse the ring...now that would be some entertainment!

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/jake-paul-slides-into-conor-mcgregors-dms-take-the-fight-pssy/

It's a sure win for Mcgregor if they will fight on octagon since we know what is the capabilities of the each fighter in different category and it's Mcgregor's territory and for sure he will get a lot of advantage from it. Hopefully this fight will became reality since it's also an interesting fight to see.

Back to Mayweather I really want him to knock off Paul to make his mouth shut and know where he belong  Grin.

Mayweather is not "coming back to boxing" at all. This is an exhibition match and not a real fight, it is totally a useless fight as well and not a real one, the fights you see on the streets are more realistic than this fight.
Floyd Mayweather is 43 years old and he is retired from boxing and he might appear here and there if he see an opportunity to make millions and we saw that with the Conor McGregor fight where he was able to make his biggest pay day in his career and now he might be calculating by seeing the amount of money Logan Paul was able to raise during his bouts and he finds this as an opportunity to make money.
The punches are real in exhibition matches and you will not see wild punches like in street fights  Tongue.

All of us see that coming, all about money and additional promotion for his name.

With his age and his achievements in terms of career it can consider that he don't need anything or no reason to fight along the way.
But money is much bigger than anything, with $$ in front of you, it's simply calling you to continue doing things you love the most
just keep collecting while fans still paying for you.

I agree.

I doubt that people would be even excited to see a match where they already know what will happen or what will be the result. This might just be focussed on Logan Paul's fanbase. I don't think Floyd Mayweather's fan or supporters would be supporting him the same as he fought against Manny Pacquiao and Connor McGregor.

Majority wont really be wasting off some bucks just because their idol in YouTube had some fight in the boxing ring.Really hard to believe that this would accumulate more that with that Mayweather and Mcgregor fight.

Maybe smaller against the revenue made during the Mayweather-McGregor fight but on that upcoming match, we are still talking about millions of revenue here. It's possible as even others know that it's a drama, they still want to check it out. In Japan, wherein Mayweather also fought for an exhibition match for the first time, it earned millions of dollars despite the fact that it's not popular globally. The fight against a Youtuber is much popular and advertised.

We can compare it to WWE wherein the main purpose of the exhibition is entertainment and not a serious fight.

The projected sales in my own view will be 3/4 of Mayweather-McGregor fight total sales.

Depends on the hype and seeing the current rumblings and talks of people then it isn't really that high compared on that previous exhibition fight of Floyd.Wondering on who would be the next opponent that they would milk out some money?

Boxing is business and its normal for them to make such exhibition fights to make more.

We can expect that there would be more fights like this in the future if fighters and management do see that they can make tons of money
out of these fights even though it would really be a on crossed sport or just purely being built in the hype.

Punches are real but pretty sure that those wouldnt really pass 50% of total power. What you think?

Love him or hate him floyd is probably top 3 pound for pound best boxer ever.  He never gets touched which is amazing.
Hahaha indeed. First of all I agree on the top 3 thing because he will never be the goat if he always play safe — change my mind. Second, you are also right that he can't be touched, his strong defense is his offense. His Shoulder Roll is impenetrable. But of course, if Floyd will do not take their match seriously then Jake Paul might snatch a lucky knockout punch. Who knows? At the end of the day, your winning in boxing is no guarantee until one of you touch the canvass.

Anyway, how this thing can be serious. I heard a rumor that even Dana White plan to put Amanda Nunes next in line. So ridiculous lol.

Playing defense is part of winning championships.  Their is no correlation to the boxing goat and wreckless offense.  Yeah it probably makes for a more exciting match but in reality boxing is more a game of chess.  Watch the highlights of every floyd match and ypu will see outside of the de la hoya fight and Castillo fight there was never any real danger to losing.  Can't find too many boxers where you can say the same.  He is without a doubt in the conversation of goat (mind you as a person i do not like floyd).
Hate to say it but Floyd is indeed a smart boxer and he do knows on what he's been aiming and he wont really be reaching his current spot if he didnt play or fight well out of those 50 fights that
he had done.
Some say that this guy doesnt have a talent or isnt really worth but to think that he wont really be reaching out if he's not really that capable.Thing here is that people doesnt really like to see
where kind of fights which doesn involve some sort of running or too much evading.
But if we do really go with the essence on making points without being getting hit then we can consider that he made this goal very well.
